ir sensor is not flir. they bashed dji beucuse of that anti china bs and stop tech support, so dji make it one on its own (or have contractor fotr that). new we have much better drone tech for same amount of money. that say a lot about flir, lol..
I love your spot where you mesh with your drones for the first time. I have one exactly like that too but way more wires so I can't play there as much as I would like to , it's isolated like your spot too. Meaning no one around.🙃
The thermal camera is good, but I still think the drone is way overpriced. Here's why. A high quality drone such as the Mavic Air 2s with a 1 inch visible sensor runs about $1500 retail and a top quality thermal camera from Flir runs about $2,300 retail. These add up to $3,800 retail price, so charging $6,500 for the both seems really out of line to me.
Great video! I need gps latitude and longitude while flying. Will the controller show live gps coordinates as latitude longitude during the flight? If not is there a way to go into a sub menu during flight to find the gps latitude longitude coordinates? For my mavic 2 zoom I can go into the “find my drone” submenu during a flight to get the gps latitude longitude, will that work with your enterprise advanced advanced drone. Thanks!
can you upload a video of how to use the 3 components to the mavic 2 enterprise advancece ... by using the speaker and the flasher and you upload a vedio of how to do those two and a review
It would be super cool to see a few videos of you using the rainbow 1 thermal camera in cool areas like at night or in the city because the drone is so expensive their aren't going to be many videos out they're of this so it would be awesome if you showed something like that.
Thanks for the video! If you take it out again, could you point the thermal camera downwards above the river confluence down by the bridge? I am a researcher interested in this drone's ability to distinguish temperature gradients where rivers of different temperature join. If you could, that would be greatly appreciated, if not no worries. Keep up the informative and well done videos!
Thanks Billy, great review! Unfortunate you were not able to get the speaker to work in this demo. I have the first version but just the zoom not the thermal, I would love for you to show us the thermal imaging at night just to see how it works in like a scenario with a person in the woods, I’m interested in this drone but it looks like it still need some more improvement for search and rescue. Great video Billy, since DJI released the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advance, do you think that will further delay the release of the Mavic 3 Pro, or is it possible for DJI to leave the Enterprise drones on the Mavic 2 Pro airframe?

Cool drone. Next time I’m in the market for a thermal monocular gun scope ect. I’m gonna have to remember this. Ild get more use out of this than anything else I’m sure. An this is cheaper than the last thermal scope I’ve bought. An this one flys
Hey Billy...I have a question about my Mavic dual enterprise....When I transfer videos from the drone to my desk top, there is always 2 videos of the same subject...The second video is always about half the size of the first one....And it always is jumpy....Any thoughts?
I purchased the enterprise dual in January and I’m PISSED the advance is now released. I bought for the FLIR and to be able to use DroneDeploy for volumetrics.
Really would be great if a blue tooth was available so you could mirror the screen onto a larger Screen .So an engineer can examine the photos or videos while the pilot flies.
12:35 the heat you're seeing underneath the cars is likely from the exhaust and brakes, not the wheels which never really gets significantly hotter than ambient temperature on a passenger vehicle.
English!!!!, Billy, at the rate you talk without taking a breath, the jury is still out if your human....lol Good review, but people need to know this is a working drone, so the RGB camera is nothing to write home about, but for what is needed in the Public Safety, Construction industry and agriculture field. always recommend to stay in optical zoom, once you go digital you will get the pixelated results. Also with this drone the Pilot app can be used to fly waypoint mission ( you can upload KML files (pre-made waypoint flights)), and this drone can be bind to the older M2P controller allowing you to uses a 3rd party app (Dronedeploy, Pix4D, Litchi..etc).

Hummm? Dated airframe and dated controller with a new camera for $6500. I'm not in the market, but I'd pass on this one and wait for the Mavic Pro 3 with the camera.
Hi Kyle MP2E ZOOM has 2 x optimal and up to 6x ie from 2- 6 digital zoom In search and rescue that extra zoom makes a difference, the photos taken when zoomed in are actually the zoomed in photo, strange this one doesn't do that ,perhaps because it's digitalised 32x it may not come out clear, I do love the thermal camera as well. , thou I wish it was all optimal zoom. I find this drone is purpose built for the building ,surveying and mining industry . As always a great review and appreciated. Wondering if you take photos at say 6x zoom they come out as per picture seen? All the rest including speaker sound is like the MP2E ZOOM

I've used and owned both the mavic and mavic mini 2. Mavic mini 2 is a perfect beginner drone, so much so that I returned my mavic because I really didn't need it with all the features on the mini 2
In Belgium we have this guy, who hided his self in the woods for about 6 days with 4rocket launchers and a machine gun, he wanted to kill everybody he could Now he’s still not found, but the search is stopped (Germany and France even helped searching) a thermal drone would really be handy
My God this is nuts that FLIR is better then my atn i paid $3k for. I told myself no more drones until my Mavic flys away but it never does it has been coming back for 4 years 🤨 im never gonna get this
I lose signal on my Air2s far more than I ever did on the original Mavic Pro, if I go behind a building it just drops out, my Mavic Pro used to breakup but hardly ever dropped connection completely so I don't see the fascination with O.3.
