Hey man Josh, your bit was hilarious. I loved that collaboration there was so much in this video that normally only goes in one video at a time! You guys did awesome, so inspired. I'll check out your channel!
I had to watch at least ten other people’s videos to get answers you professionally provided and explained in one awesome vid. You got a like from me plus I subscribed. Fantastic video easily comprehensible. 👍
Very helpful video and tutorial for the Mavic 2 Pro. I've had mine about a week now and I'm excited to learn everything I can about flying and creating my own art
Thank you so much, that quick, comprehensive 10-pointer saves massive amounts of time for trial and error filming, plus subsequent disappointments, especially for beginners like myself. super-well done and terrifically helpful and inspiring! JJJK
Absolutely fantastic info video Taylor. I've been flying a Phantom 4 Pro and now a Mavic 2 pro and there was very helpful setup tips and editing ideas. Keep them coming. Have you made a video on just editing 4K footage in D-log?
Man I really loved this video. I appreciated the Broll so much it's inspired me to do more and not be lazy. I'm going to check out the drone settings for my Mavic Pro (gimbal speed, etc) I know most of this only applies to the new Mavic 2. Very informative you didn't just stop at drone settings you then took us into EDITING IT! So awesome, thanks man. I know most of the settings you mentioned are just worded differently or not available on android.... (-_-)
I have my drone insurance from State Farm. It covers everything even if your drone hits the water and is lost. The price I am paying for $ 2,000 of coverage is about $ 65 per year.
A minute 2::31 I’m confused as to why the video format would be mp4 and not MOV. From what I understand MOV is higher quality. Thanks for the great video.
The quad charger does NOT let you charge four batteries at once, it starts with the lowest charged battery and does one at a time, which actually is not good in the field when you're hurrying to get another battery ready for flight. I don't use mine at all now, I had to get a third party charger which is cheaper and does all at once like any good little battery charger should.
At 8:16 you have "advanced camera settings" under one of your custom keys, in my Mavic 2 pro I only have "camera settings", am I missing some firmware updates? Or did they just change it to camera settings now? Great video, learning a ton out of it!
If you put a memory card in the drone and you are using the smart controller for Mavic 2 pro do you need one in the smart controller too? Do you recommend putting it in the drone or the smart controller?
Escrye Ipsliz ok so its better to have the memory card in the drone not the smart controller? Can you still plug an hdmi cable from the smart controller to a tv to watch your recorded video after? Thank you
I stopped watching as soon as he said "charge 4 batteries at once" ... it is a sequential charger, it will charge 4 batteries in sequence in 4-5 hours.
The hub does not let you charge 4 at once. I don't know why everyone keeps saying this? You can place 4 batteries on the hub and it charges them independently from one another not simultaneously..
@@krillekiwi The charger also prioritises which battery is charged first, i.e. The battery with the least amount to charge is charged first, then the next and so on
It's still much better than manually switching, like I used to do on my previous Mavic Pro. Just put them all in the charger and forget about it until you're ready to go!
Yes yes yes to numbers 7 and 8. Too many people overlook these steps and fly illegally. As a pilot I can not stress the importance of this enough! Also, regarding emergency personnel and in particular with wild fires, there are lots of low flying manned aircraft, so if drones are spotted and the airspace is deemed unsafe for manned aircraft, then they will ground themselves, ultimately not allowing them to do their job whether it be search and rescue or firefighting.
Great video! A note: the charge hub in the Fly-more charge sequentially meaning, one battery at the time, the lowest voltage first and so on. The supplied charger is not powerful enough to charge more then one. You can buy charges for M2P/M2Z, that charges 3 at the time. Look for 5-in-1 charges for Mavic 2.
+Peter Brøsted Jensen yeah you’re absolutely right. I shouldn’t have used the word “simultaneously” which certainly implies parallel charging. Thanks for your comment!
Very nicely done Mr. Moore. Your tutorial was the best Mavic pro 2 I stumbled across viewing something completely different online. Right to the point, well explained. I'm more educated/confident with my settings menu on this expensive toy thanks to your vlog. The Drone apps like the Drone buddy were also good to know about. Thank man!
@@TaylorMoore4KThe Pleasure is all mine. I shared your tutorial with one of my co-workers today and he was equally impressed. He will by getting a Mavic pro2 maybe around the holiday time and looking forward to jumping in this rabbit hole world of the drone. Also, thanks for responding. I was not expecting your response but I will hit you up for tips if thats ok with you. Again, you get the lifetime BROCARD Stamp of approval. Thanks for the help. Have a good day.
This video would be much more useful if the CC text didn't completely cover up all the image that is useful for demonstration. Sure, you can turn off CC, but the text IS helpful for us visual lerners
Thanks for the video. Btw your timestamps in the description didn't appear in the video, I think it's because you use another : after the time. It should be 0:53 instead of 0:53: cmiiw
Definitely do not let the RC charge your phone. I have 5 mavic pro batteries (still isn't that much flying time if you are enthusiastic to be honest), and the RC barely just about survives untill 5 drone batteries run out, somtimes it doesn't, I still have 1 battery left but the RC is dead... and you can't swap RC batteries.
Staying at the beach this weekend and I went out at sunrise to shoot a time-lapse and fly the drone. Set up the time lapse, turned on the Mavic Air, and then realized I left the controller at the house. Love tips man.
Thinking to upgrade from Mini2… but with Mavic 2 Pro in mind because the camera and wind resistance…Now the Mini 4 Pro has D-log…..I still think M2Pro might be the best choice. What do you think? Thanks mate!
Hello guys. My name is Chris walker and I have recently had 2 issues with my mavic 2 pro. I have recently started my own RU-vid channel where I will be taking footage of north and south of Ireland with my new drone and bring it to your door step anywhere in the world. With your support I hope to make this into something massive.
Why do I always get the feeling that a lot of people who put up instructional videos seem like it's kind of well okay I don't really have time to be doing this but heres a few titbits now leave me alone, BTW I don't mean you specifically T.M.
Timeline editing on my DaVinci Resolve is buttery smooth in ProRez. How come you do both ProRez AND Proxy file when editing? Thats gotta use a ton of disk space
If you think that HLG is useless then take a look at this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3IifPSFTxVA.html HLG is a HDR format and you best look at it with a HDR capable tv or HDR monitor, you will be flabbergasted when you see the picture quality, and you don't have to color grade it. It is also possible to look to HLG footage with a (normal) SDR tv. I think why all this RU-vid guys don't like HLG is because not a lot of people can see HDR footage today. Less people means less exposure, means less money.
Great video as i'm getting my Mavic 2 zoom in a couple of days. Sucks to fly in Southern California which is horribly filled with damn airports and such. Can't blame them but flying in Los Angeles in practically impossible.
