**NOTE: Consistency on Mastershots is not there yet. Some of my footage would seems to sway, and after running it again, it was fine. Mastershots needs to dial in a little better, hopefully on the next update.
Yeah - the “sway” in the video tracking made most of those unusable. Dronie, the circles, etc. Are you saying that if you flew it a second or third time you’d get a set of usable clips?
Also one of the first things I noticed was it seems unable to lock on and gimbal was moving left to right when it was doing a lot of the master shot moves
I agree, MasterShots needs some work on the Mavic 3. I've tried this feature twice, and big issues boths times, including camera shake and crooke horizon issues. Great video, and thanks for sharing.
I recently just heard that starting Jan 2022 the fly more combo will come with the RC Pro...so I'm gonna wait..hopefully by then there will be many more features added to the Mavic 3
Really helpful video thank you Aldryn. I have tried it once on my own M3 but had no idea that there were changes I could make and the extra templates etc. I appreciate the detail that you go into in all your videos.

I compare your mastershots with my Air 2S mastershots and see a clear difference in e.g. stable circle. Take a look at 5:27 for example, there you see that the cross lines constantly moves horizontally to the left and right during circle mode, it should stable pointing to that home and not wobling. I don't have that at all with my 2S and I don't like it.
You are the best and thank you for this demonstration. I noticed that you had a “ Vision system unavailable. Fly with caution.” warning. The one you have is apparently due to “The ambient light varies greatly”. Do you know if there is a list showing us all other situations that may trigger a “Vision system unavailable. Fly with caution” warning? Too many people reported that they damaged their Mavic 3 that could be due to “vision system” challenges (may be doing a RTH over an area covered with snow?). May be you can use your contact with DJI and find us a list so we can avoid getting into trouble? The Mavic 3 is too expensive we cannot afford to be careless due to ignorance. Thank you in advance.

@Flypath if you go further away from the POI, MasterShots adds a 'FPV' type shots and 'look around' shot too.. I thought it was a fault at first. Cant remember the exact yardage but worth look into
@@FlytPath my m3 was wondering and going height without any input on the stick, I contacted DJI who informed me to calibrate my remote control, as a result this procedure worked
I'm overall happy with my Mavic 3 BUT... I still haven't found the drone that tops the Phantom 4 Pro. Every Mavic drone seems half baked in comparison. I was really hoping for a Phantom 5. The Mavic series has always been a backup drone to my P4P. This is the best Mavic yet, but I'll still be flying my Phantom 4 Pro when doing most jobs.
Totally agree with you. I can't find a drone replacing my phantom 4 advanced accept for the phantom 4 pro v2 and the Mavic 2 enterprise advanced. All the other drones are missing features or the features are halve baked. The air 2s would come close if it could work with the go 4 and the GS pro app, they released the SDK for other developers, and it was compatible with the RC pro in Europe. Dual control option would also be nice for instruction purpose. The Mavic 3 also (still) misses these features. I much rather would like dji to put their energy in developing their apps and firmware than pumping out a new drone every 2 years. DJI please look at the applications a drone can be used for and develop your apps and firmware for those applications properly. there is much more than only filming and making nice pictures.
I’m truly shocked to see why in earth did DJI release Mavic 3 with a toy app n a cheap toy remote with problematic flying options. I don’t get it. It’s a matter of time soneine will catch up with dji on drones. People Will not forget what Dji did this to their customers with this incomplete product.
Why do you have to worry about obstacles, if obstacle avoidance is on? Is there any way to manually change the bitrate you're recording at, or is that always automatic. Good video. I didn't know about mastershots. I'll have to try that.
Do they make any filters for the DJI M3 yet? The whites on the side of the house which was facing the sun seemed (at least on my monitor) burned out...
It baffles me that a company like DJI, who had an incredibly good record up to the Air 2S would drop this update early and shoot itself in the foot, it just makes them look bad, which is disappointing because I'm a huge fan of their products.
I believe the swaying camera is a bug as it happens on mines as well. I completed a master shot at a shorter distance so I could see the drone and it’s not the camera that’s swaying but the actual drone yawing left and right repeatedly as it completes its course
Ya on some of my shots, the camera seems to sway. Then I would run it again and it was perfect. I ran it about 3 times and there were a couple in there that were more noticeable than others. Not consistent yet. I mentioned this in my description.
