dji mic only works well with wired microphones, its signal will interfere with a wireless microphone, so be careful, you can ruin a speech or even a ceremony
this is 100% true. dont ever use it if the reception is using a wireless mic - even if you dont use the wireless receiver of the DJI and only as internal recorder, theres no way to turn the DJI mic searching for the transmitter so it will still interfere regardless
Do you use a lav on groom because the magnets aren’t strong enough during ceremony ? How does audio sound when taping mic to microphone for reception / speeches any issues / tips when using these for weddings ? 🙏🏻
Is the magnet on these strong enough to hold itself in the brides dress? I'd be using a white wired lav but was wondering if a thigh sleeve is even necessary
More than one speaker more than likely at a wedding or event ceremony. Only two mics come with this kit. This hack is when you need all audio from everyone. I have these DJI mics, and had the same issue.!
@@donniekane0057 unfortunately not. I returned my set after trying it. Ran into the same issue as you did. I realise now that we need a standalone recorder that doesn't give off any wireless signal. So far all I can find is the instamic pro plus or the Sony tx650/tx800. It's really a bummer because the dji mic is the perfect form factor to use like this. Wish it ran on 1.9ghz, would probably have fixed the issues.
