Hope you made it through the storm ok. My wife has relatives down there they said they had no power for days. The mini 2 looks like a blast to fly!!!!!

I'm getting closer to being the master of my destiny and taking the reins of flying my mini 2 too. Now I need to take to dust it off and charge, charge away my batteries, that is. Flying away from my Smart TV too, to a park close by. Enjoy your videos though and your valuable commentary. I hope I can remember your technique and see how I can utilize it in my flying in the future.

Good video buddy. I used to belong to 4 or 5 Facebook mini 2 pages but had to dump them all because of the idiots with bad remarks. Thank you for a good video. I haven't flown my mini two much since I got it in December. Shoot I haven't flown it more then 200 feet away from me. But your flight gave me a little more courage. Someday I'll take the plunge and fly it farther.
Nice to see Star in Idaho and how well and far I could fly my Mini 2 when I build up my confidence and wear headphones to drown out my usually worried wife when the drone goes too far away lol
I really like that new park, very scenic around there, with those lakes and ponds. It was interesting so see some of them frozen over. Nice flight with the Mini 2, is seems to be flying well on the new firmware.
Good video content, I completely enjoyed it. Here in New Jersey we have windy conditions almost everyday so unfortunately I can't really enjoy my mini 2 yet.
Hi sir To avoid possibility of hitting tree tops I keep gimbal straight ahead til I can look over tops of them all, if I'm going to shoot around such areas. So far have done around 90 flights since December (the app counts them), hit power line once on first flight, learned my lesson about power lines, but trustee mini2 always re-stabilizes, same when I didn't clear porch metal roof completely, Lol. So often very impressive advanced drone.
Nice video and pretty close to those trees on your way out. I have gotten to the point of always flying out with the camera aimed away just for that reason with the Mini 2.
Trees and power lines, my 2 biggest fears of connecting with! When you started the video, all I could see were trees surrounding you... my blood pressure went up. Good flying, with all of the obstacles, Marcus. 😓
Oh the eagles!... they can be a serious danger to the drones, I've seen some being knock down by these birds. I live in a coastal area and have problems with the seagulls, clouds of them in the sky often. Clearly they get nervous by my drone presence (mini), sometimes kind of angry. Oh man, and that was a very close call with the tree.

Is it me, or do you keep finding excuses to go out and fly a drone?? Lol hehe great job Marcus! Also, when I hand catch, when the drone gets close to my hand, I actually grab the bottom of the body with my fingers, so that way I don't accidentally drop it, or so something silly doesn't happen like it taking off outta my hand or something crazy like that lol....give it a try, maybe you'll find it a little easier and feel like you have more control of the landing! Got to get me a mini 2. Little disappointed with what DJI is offering for a trade value for my Mavic Mini though. I may keep it or try to sell it myself
Nice video very informative! I have to say very impressed with my Mavic. Marcus are you tempted by the latest DJI offering ... the dji fpv? I'm certainly not an FPV pilot ..... I have seen some very cinematic shots with it. It does come with a hefty price tag.... but you receive DJI quality! Take care thanks again.
Great video Marcus! The mini 2 always performs! Do you still fly your mavic mini much? Do you notice a difference in flight characteristics between the two?
Just one more thing I wanted to ask you and that is do you still use the Smart controller at all or do you prefer to stick with the stock controller when flying the Mini 2 ? Thanks Mr Mint

I am considering to purchase an MAV 2 with the Smart controller but I have mixed feelings as to whether I should purchase the drone with a stock controller or with the smart controller as a fly more combo package. @@bureauofintelligence5542 I do use the SC with the MA2, but I also have the original controller. I bought the SC separately. The SC is most useful in bright conditions.
i got a dji min 2, and sometimes hear helicopters go low, what is the lowestthe helicopter can fly low, any suggestion set my drone to under 300feet to be careful, and fly low to tree thank? i believe helicopters like military have to be 500feet or higher
@@IdahoQuadcopter what if you cant see the drone far out, i will stay at below 500 right now i think i set it to below 350 just in case, i live around alot of trees so i cant see it when i far futher but will listen, thanks
