Genial! Habe mit Pix4D in 2014 "gearbeitet" als es gerade "Payware" wurde und dann mit Litchi als Tester, aber in der Simplizität wie hier macht das gleich wieder Laune und ist 'ne würdige Konkurrenz! Wünsche viel Erfolg und hoffentlich viele kommerzielle Anwendungsfälle! ;-)

Hi Kilian. Great video and I'm very interested in try something like this out. Is it HDRPano 3D for taking the images and map-creator for stitching them together? Are these Apps created by you? If so I'm mega impressed. Also if they are, is there a try for free option? Oh by the way I only have a DJI Mini 2
You need PTGui for the stitching. hdrpano 3D is for taking panoramas and fly missions. The map-creator is a 2D and 3D mission creator for my APP’s and Litchi. There will soon be a free option on iOS.
Just purchased your app. Thanks for developing the app and putting this tutorial together. Very helpful! You have a great teaching style and are easy to follow and understand. You mentioned several times to change pitch angle with each orbit/altitude. Is there a standard formula you use to adjust the tilt?
Hi! First of all I would like to thank you for this application. It's great and the price is very affordable. I wanted to ask if it is possible to stop a Fly Mission during it? The second question is that when you have the Inspection mission, you can somehow change the lower level from which the flight should start, from what I see it always starts from the ground level and I can't find out if it can be changed somehow. Thanks for your comment. You can stop a Virtual Stick mission if you move the sticks or if you switch the flight mode from normal to sport for example. The inception mission start from 3m. You can change this value in the settings from the map-creator from 2m to 12m.
Hello Killian, With version 2.9, I've noticed that after transferring to litchi, the first photo is taken, but not the subsequent ones. Compared to an older mission, I have noticed that the photo capture interval is no longer displayed in litchi. Thank you for your feedback Louis
I did not quite understand, how do you set the picture amount, camera angle etc. Or the app make all this by it self and when uploader into litchi app the mission is executed automatically?
The image photo distance helps you to set the amount of pictures. The angle is at -70°. You can edit the pitch angle in the CSV file or in the hdrpano APP 3D you can overwrite it. If you use Litchi you must first upload the mission in the flighthub flylitchi.
@@KilianEisenegger One problem i met was that once you activate the mission flight, the sensors are disabled, and i found out the hard way, good that it was a small bush in wish the drone crushed. So first you go to position, then u make sure there is no obstacles and after that you give go to the mission. After the first test i must say that am really impressed by the workflow, great job !

Ich kann aber den download für macOS nicht finden - gibt es den überhaupt für macOS? Was wäre deiner Meinung nach ein anderes, solides photogrammetry software für macOS, eines das auch nicht-programmieren benützen können? Ich werde mir deine apps reinziehen. I found the Litchi App for Android, but we still need the map-creator right? and that is MacOS only? Could you maybe make a video or just answer here with an explanation about the steps and software needed for people without Mac and iPhone, that would be awesome, thanks!! Very impressive work you are doing! EDIT: I just found this very nice looking app Dronelink which also can fly missions and lots of cool stuff. Could the missions you created in the map-creater also be used with Dronelink?
@@nightcat5443 You can use Pix4Dcapture to create flat 2D grids for Android. Dronelink uses own methods to create grids. I will soon start using Kotlin for Android.
@@KilianEisenegger thanks for your reply. So can Pix4Dcapture do the 2D and 3D (elevation) mission planning? If Dronelink cant use them I have no problem to use Litchi to actually fly them in the end.

Hi Killian, I recently updated the app, but I notice that on the PC the circle works with KMLs, but in CSV and on Litchi, it turns into a Helix route. Have you noticed this problem? Thank you for your reply.
Great app! Thanks. But is there a way to easily calculate the % of the overlap? Let say, i'm flying with my Mavic 3 at 50m altitude and I want 80% overlap. What would be the distance between waypoint lines etc.
Yes this is normal. The new map-creator add elevation to any polygon and not only 4 waypoints. In this video map-creator could only add elevation to 4 waypoints.

Wenn ich die 3D-Mission starte fliegt die Drohne an den Startpunkt und bleibt dann aber stehen und ich komme nicht weiter. Was mache ich denn da falsch?
The Air 3 works only with SDK 5. Only Android is supported. I have customers who uses Litchi Beta with CSV import from the map creator. Actually the SDK 5 does not support the AIR 3. It will be supported soon I guess

@@ritarn_ab When you are interested for photogrammetry I recommend the Mavic 3 Enterprise with mechanical shutter. With the Mavic 3 Enterprise you can import kml files from the map-creator. Do you have already an aircraft?
@@KilianEisenegger Again, thanks for your answer. The thing is that photogrammetry is only a small part of my bussiness. I mostly shoot videos for commercial use, advertising, short clips for social media etc. I bought the DJI MAVIC AIR for many years ago and now I need a new drone. I think the MAVIC ENTERPRISE is way too proffesional and expensive the lack of hours I might use it.
@@KilianEisenegger Now I have done some quick research and found out that the AIR 3 got Waypoint mode, also tiltable camera that reach over the horizon. That including the Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing maybe makes me buy one.

Any idea on how long it will be before these programs/apps arrive on the scene? Will I be able to do an entire start-to-finish 3D model with a Mini 2 using your "stuff?"
Hi Kilian, i've purchased map-creator, i can't export 3d mission quite well. In google earth i only see 1 path and not as your example, three 3d polygons. Why?
