Hello! I'm curious as to where you have your photos printed? Sorry if this was covered in the video - I must have missed it. Great video and thanks for the inspiration! Cheers
Love your work man! Just bought the mini 2 and also have the air 2s. And by seeing this video now I have a new motive to go flying.... just subscribed to your channel because I love your work. Thanks for the video.
Those truthful words will hold back many from making any real money these days. “Must be marketed correctly”… Edit:I’m glad I got a notification for this comment. Couldn’t find it later and wanted to add. “Oh! You have videos on marketing too!” That’s awesome hehe thanks
Great work! I got a Mavic mini 2 and was using it only for videos as I'm a video editor enthusiast... Now trying to get deeper into photos and post-production! Many thanks for breaking down all the process!!!
Hey mate, I really enjoy your channel, ( and the accent ) lol I often watch drone videos of big cities, most of them look amazing, BUT I also saw many footages of drones just randomly falling from the sky. So my question is: what are the chances that a drone ( let's Mavic 2-3 ) will just fall without a warning?
Hey I've really like what you did, and I think the second is better too. Hope it brought you some good cash. I wanted to ask - why didn't you use raw on the Mini 2 ?
Great video tutorial. Purchased a mini 2 a few days ago and when searching mini 2 videos on RU-vid I noticed your thumbnail and thought, I swear that’s the breakwater!! I live in Paignton and have seen your excellent images on Facebook groups. Small world!
I actually prefer the 2nd (new image more) thanks for sharing your workflow! Out of interest are you making any profit from the photos or is the revenue all going into the printing costs? Thanks
One question on the picture sales: How long did it take . . . NEVER MIND. I just found your other segment on "How to Set Up Your Etsy store" :) I learned a bunch of easy but powerful adjustments in Photoshop. Up to now "Selective Color" was just something I saw in the menus on my way to looking for something else. I know up to now I am doing a lot of edits the hard way.
great tutorial. thanks for sharing. did you mention that you were going to advice on correct marketing ? also i would love to know the company that you entrust to print your work with?
You don’t use ND filters for photography unless doing long exposure. They are used for motion blur in videos. Overrated in my opinion and not necessary.
Hi Great work. I am a novice who just started flying the DJI Mini 2. What editing software do u use? Also to accomplish this should I record ino jpeg + Raw?
Hi Ronald, No problem! Etsy is the #1 go to for starting out to build an audience, the only downside is the fees that take. Ebay etc...I find useless for selling print work. It's either Etsy or Your own website store I think. 😊
@@ScottRobertsPhotography Thanks. Do you get Loxley to ship direct to the customer? What happens if there’s an issue with the print and the customer wants to return it? Just curious how this whole print fulfilment from 3rd party suppliers works as it’s a route I’m thinking of taking after supplying my own prints for years.
Tbh mate, I didn't know what that meant until I looked it up, but n ow I'm aware of it! I haven't had a problem before with the printing, so hopefully I don't run into any issues down the line.
Thankyou very much for excellent video's.....Just wondered, what is the legal situation with taking pics of places.....and making money from them. I only ask because I live in Leicester.....we have a few nice places, but they all have signs saying no drones etc. I also thought alot of the southwest had similar restrictions. Keep up the good work and thankyou again Steve
Hi Steve, so I think as as long as the there are no restrictions as to where you are flying, you can sell the image...obviously don't take a photo of someones back garden and try to sell it...🤣 but for landscapes etc...I think you'll be fine as long as it's not a school, naval college and all that. Basically it comes down to common sense, and if anyone does pull you up on something, just say you didn't know! I haven't had any issues yet, just a few locals who think they're the drone police and want me to take an image down because of jealously. but you just tell those guys to 🖕🤣
