I have the OG mini in Straya, it's FCC but i think the newer models are all CE, albeit with much better range then the OG mini. I can get a bit over 4K out of mine, not that I've flown beyond line of site down a river 🤠
Thanks for the video! I’m not sure if mine works or not. I have IOS and RC smart controller. The line is always below the 1km line no matter what but it’s always above the -90 line (or technically below the -90 but closer to 100). Does that mean it’s always in FCC?

I have an Android phone, can I install both FCC app and original DJI fly on the same phone? As on Drone Tweeks it says you have to first delete the original dji fly app before installing fcc... Can you please clarify? Thanks in advance.
You only need the fcc app, you can't install both on an Android phone. It won't work. No need to start the original app on your phone. Its more simpel, then he shows in the video.

Don’t forget, the EU regularly breaks its ‘own’ laws. In many areas. Registration is ultimately about control. The average drone user in the european areas probably knowingly breaks the local laws often with drone usage - because of silly, unreasonable demands from the overlords. It’s all about peeps having ‘eyes in the sky’. They don’t like that. The fact is, most drone users are probably responsible and will not endanger or cause any issues, because these people have their morals and know decent and responsible behaviour and will fly safe. They just don’t want to be slapped for using googles and, ohhhhhh, flying your drone beyond your physical - viewing capabilities (UK) No reason to buy an FPV then, eh? I fly ALL my drones FCC in Europe, it is awesome and the odds of getting caught are less than that of being struck by lightning. Even then 1000 euros is hardly life changing and wouldn't stop me immediately continuing.
Am i correct in understanding that this “hack” does not stay when everything is turned back off after being applied? So in order to fly in fcc mode i would have to do these steps everytime? Ty
Hello, i have a mini 4 pro with RC2 Controller, i bought the apk on your site (my order number 35771) but it doesn't work for me, first i can't have in same time on my galaxy S10+ the dji official apk + fcc DJI APK installed. it told me "do you want to update when i want to install each one, and second i have still the 120 meters and i don't have FCC mode. could you help me please by mail of my order, thank you in advance
Works, no problem for me, thanks, henrik and the mini 4 pro signal like you say is strong with the force on its own a good point to make is the drone should be outside to gain gps before you switch to the fcc app
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA I've installed it on my old Pixel 2XL for my Mavic 3, but that cannot do quick transfer, so I can't transfer the hack to my Mini 3 RC controller.

Those poor USA living in their nanny country LOL. Their government are trying to ban DJI drones, because of "data transmission" to China, but no word about data collection done by Apple and Google... @@TECHDRONEMEDIA Thanks Henrik. because you showed me it worked for mini 4 pro. in my case the error was that my mobile had a goggle play update which did not work with the app. found an old mobile phone in the drawer. and installed the app on it and now it works.. thanks Henrik. Hello, I have a simple question, I have a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone, connected to a pair of DJI Goggles and controlled by DJI motion 2, can it be controlled instead of DJI motion with a DJI Fpv 2 controller?
DJI has a procedure for it. You apply for removal of 120m limit, you send them picture of your drone before and after removal of C0 certification sitcker and you have 500m unlocked. Google for it, it works
I'm confused with standard vs. smart controller ... Does that work for the RC-N2, i.e. the controller which doesn't have a built-in screen, but requires a connection to a smartphone?
Do I understand correctly, that it is even more simple with a rc-n2 controller, than shown in the video, because it just belongs to which app I open to fly the drone? I have a pretty new mini 4 pro with C0 certification and I use it with a rc-n2 controller. Does it füllt work with this setup? Thanks
@@heiko.odoerfer. yes. 1 you make connection the normal way with the RC 2 smart controler 2 when connected, start the fccFly DJI Fly app on your phone. 3 klick on "quick transfer" 4 klick en connect your drone, 5 on your centroler click on "exit quick transfer". You are ready to fly FCC mode.
