Adding a mic to the RC controller adds audio to the RC recording, thats one less thing to sync. The actual drone footage has no audio so the only way to sync is to clap in front of the drone recording and manualy sync the footage to the audio. This is why DJI drones should have time code stamps. There is a Clapper App call Clapper Board. point your done, have all your mic and RC on with mic plugged in then use the app, its easier to then get them all synced up.
