Woah... Very cool bit of kit. I wondered when there'd be a competitor for the x1. I Would be concerned with how noisy the new neo is, compared. A that is the main thing that has put me off so far... I don't wanna be scaring the wildlife away just to get interesting footage. I really love the idea of these though. Absolutely. Fantastic review, as always, my friend, keep up the great work

Hi,I don't know why people say it's got a ten k range as there is no way on earth you will get anywhere near that ,the battery will never last much more than a mile or 1.5 kilometres at best. Good review

It’s strange that there is no vertical video recording on the Neo, as this is clearly a drone that will be used for Instagram or RU-vid reels mostly. I am looking to start with drones and I think that the Hoverair X1 pro is the best option for beginners. I was checking the Mini pro 4 but the convenience of not needing a controller seems very interesting

Neo doesn't fold and is too slow in follow so although i'm already in DJI system im not going to waste money on it. Ive been using the Hover X1 for the last year and at least it folds away morw compact than the Neo so i can fit it in my jersey pocket. I got it for my gravel biking adventures and the Hover does a fine job but 20kph like the Neo is not fast enough. So last week i sold my Hover X1 and got more on ebay for a 12 mth old than it would cost to get a Neo but that wont do the job i need being too slow so ice ordered the new Hover X1 Pro that will track in follow mode up to 42kph and nurst mode 60kph. The Hover X1 Peo and ProMax are just next level, more powerful, better wind resistance and have 1km range with its Beacon.

The HoverAir X1 is faster than the Neo and does follow from the side as well as rear and front. As well you stated that the Neo battery could be charged while in the craft while the HoverAir could not but that isn't true. It can be charged in the Hover.

There is a usb-c port on the hover air x1 where you can plug your cable to charge the battery.

Hoverair x1 still the best because it does better job at followinv, and it can follow people fron the front, while the dji neo cannot follow people from the front and sideways. In fact, that is the onkye reason I like the Howver air x1 because no drone ever could track or follow peole from front way and sideways

Both are garbage. But regarding the Hoverair they at least have the new pro and pro max range which are way better than these toys!

@@ZanderRound the Neo can’t follow properly and is always losing its subject combined with poor image quality as well as digital stabilization has no place. Dji are late to the party and just copying HoverAirs idea. I wouldn’t buy either!

@@ZanderRound I wouldn’t pay £50 for that kind of quality. The 2.7k on the Hoverair is better and it follows way better. I think dji have failed this time trying to take over this segment but they’re too late with such a crap release!
