Recorded with the DJI Goggles. Sorry for the bad OSD setup and battery warning. Li-ion batteries actually require to set the minimum voltage lower than with a Lipo. Li-ion batteries can go as low as 2.5V, where a Lipo battery should always be kept above 3.5V.

The 100km/hr 60A peak draw on the ascent was insane. Took me a minute to figure the amp draw was split across two Li-Ions but still. Pushing the limit of range on EVERY part of that drone and it was an insane flight.

In betaflight in the OSD section you can disable the flashing of the indicators. You can also set the threshold for triggering.

I'd never disable the flashing indicators. Waaay too easy to get caught up in the scenery and forget to keep an eye on the OSD. I'd rather have BF pipe up with a "hey dipshit, you're about to lose hundreds of dollars of equipment".

I have a question about O3 Unit. I just bind and fully setup my Geprc Mk5 DC and I just realised - camera angle. I come from DJI FPV so I had the roll to adjust it even mid flight - how do I do it on O3 Unit? 😦

That was very, very bold. I have the same batteries, and in such conditions I never go to the limit of their capacity. And it seems to work, but I'm not going to try it. O3 works very well even at 2-3 Mbps which is absolutely amazing. The limit of the batteries and the limit of the link has been reached, it could have gone very wrong. Once again, a truly brave move.

Same. I got an adrenaline rush just from watching it. Im not sure about the Link limit though, dbm is not linear, 6dbm less is double the amout of distance. He most likely has his TX set to 50Hz, so he can reach a max of -115dbm, right?

@@volvo850enjoyer8 The dbm shown are for the crossfire control link, the video link was at its max because it drops to 2 Mbps, that was a moments from complete offlining of the image.

@@MomoBrut I dont think that the video limit was reached. He could go much further. In this case there was a mountain top between the quad and the google. So the bitrate dropped hard. He just changed the direction and all was fine again.

Nah... the darkness actually certainly wasn't like that, it's obviously just due to the camera settings and/or its poor ability to adjust exposure and there is also a limited dynamic range involved here.

Hello! I'd like to know something if you can! 8.000 mah from 2x Li-ion batteries about 870 grams both. A 6500mah lipo, with 825 grams (about the same), would the chimera be able to fly with this? Since it would be mounted on top. The size is 15cm long! Doesn't matter if I would make less flight time, I just need to know if I could fit this! I'm on my way of searching for a rtf long range Drone and chimera is what I'm guessing I'll purchase. Yet I see many problems but I'll keep up reading and see. Thank you!

Amazing flight insanely calm piloting! Is nice to see O3 holding still good video at 4mbit!!!!! What is disappointing is that in near ideal RF conditions is goes that low bandwidth on standard antenna 7KM out. Few questions: What was your RC link, also DJI (guess not since OSD RC is off)? What was happening when RSSI was low seemed to be that Failsafe kicked in and leveled you? You definitely had that piece ironed out before flight! What is the Chinese warning the goggles gave at 8:11sec ? Your lessons learned would be amazing for other beginner long range pilots!

I want to know what that pack was. I’ve got a 4S 3000mah that can put out 30A, even with a 6S2P they got way more out of that pack and still had a decent amount left in the tank. I’m guessing the amps weren’t properly calibrated on the FC

Цифры на экране не новые. Я на 3500 mAh летал перепад/дистанция 2100/4000. Сейчас собрал себе на такой раме коптер, и могу сказать точно - тяжелая. Предыдущий коптер 7" на раме от GepRC был с голой гоупро8 на 100 грамм легче при прочих равных. Но полет отличный... Обожаю горы

Totally awesome! This amazing new technology in the O3 is letting people pull off flights like this!! Wowwww. I was blown away wit hiw long the battery said land now and hung around the low 3's for most of the video. I dont understand how thatcan happen. Is it the lion vs lipo battery. Someone explain please!,! Thanks! Plus your location for the flight doesnt hurt. One last thing. It would be neat to see the 4k footage with the google view in pip.

Its a Li-Ion battery. Not a lipo.

Correct. Just my pilot didn't adjust the minimum voltage in Betaflight properly so it was flashing LOW BATTERY for the entire flight.

Due to the questionable settings, fixed manual exposure calculated to not overexpose highlights, and camera with HDR video off, or camera having small dynamic range and unable to create video HDR, or at least unable to brighten the blacks and the shadows.
