DJI Osmo Pocket 3 - the best new vlogging camera! 

OMG I just added this to my kit for Vlogging and it's absolutely game changing in so many ways (and I hate when people use that term lol). But the active tracking is so clutch for getting more dynamic footage of myself doing absolutely something mundane lol. And then add the DJI Mic 2, awesome little set up!

I was looking into the Pocjet 2. But waited for the Pocket 3 and some reviews to come out and I am impressed with this review. Ill prob will be getting this soon. Thanks for your awesome insights.

I don't pull the body out of the case but pulling the case apart so the body pop out, an important tip for owners! DJI POCKET 3 has elevated itself to such position that it beats DSLR/Mirrorless cameras in many key areas considering price point. Imagine if, the next generation of the Dji pocket 3 makes improvements in focal length ( addition of 85mm, 35mm as an attachment) backed by bigger sensor with better dynamic range, then the game is over for big camera industries like Canon, Sony, Nikon etc, as the form factor alone is so awesome & practical.

Great video Justine! I have had this camera for just under a week and I would say that it is also great for cinematic shots and film making on a budget the colour profiles allow for cinematic colour grading which is awesome. In fact I just posted some test footage on my channel.

I'm a vlogger and I use the Osmo Pocket 3 to shoot all of my videos. It's the perfect camera for vlogging because it's so easy to use and the footage is amazing. I highly recommend it to any vlogger.

with all the awesome things this device can do it is still limited and there are a few issues I hope DJI get to fix. The first issue that was never fix after this new update, Webcam mode sucks I am still only getting about 40mins in webcam mode over FaceTime or zoom and the camera will overheat and disconnect. The other issue is, I am still not able to preview the low resolution video in the app on my phone. To preview your video you have to watch it back on the small screen. I normally will connect my phone to the Pocket 3 when I am filming myself and want to just preview a sample clip, Nope it won't work and I have the iPhone 14pro Mex. I hope they fix this or if there is a way to fix this please let me know.

Why is it that so many people say "DGI"? I know I've done it myself, and even iJustine did it here. It just flows better. 🤣

All you have to do is color grading all you videos so it can look good enough!

The lightweight camera with small footprint, clear and stable video, the nice low light shooting blinded me for some time - but then I realised that as a family vacation shooter this camera is USELESS if it does not offer OPTION of infinite focus. If I cannot get my subject and the surroundings ALL in focus, then that defeats the whole concept of vacation shooting - the bokeh effect (background blurring) is a massive hindrance than of benefit. Maybe if you are showcasing a product or person. Or trying cinematic storytelling - you may find it useful. But for millions of simple vacationers like me - who just desired crisp super stable video while travelling, taking in all of the surroundings - this lack of universal focus (fixed aperture and focal length) is a deal breaker. Lucky I stopped just short of making payment for it.

Cool but you arent going to get nice, tight shots that that super nice DOF at 1:49 with this toy 😃
