Sounds like DJI is trying to use you guys to figure out the tune for this machine...and possibly claim "Tuned by Steele" You make damn sure you get paid by DJI for your efforts.
2019 and DJI is re-entering the FPV racing market. I must say they are ahead of their time with that camera mount, as cameras these days uses tpu mounts.

DJI needs to bring their Ocusync digital video system technology into the FPV acro/racing market ASAP! A stand alone VTX/VRX system like the Connex Prosight but with the signal robustness to reach 7km would be awesome (not that the distance is needed for mini quads, but the extra penetration would help). Hopefully they can get the latency down so that it's practical.
RD Simmers that's why I said the signal ROBUSTNESS of a system that can reach 7km :P If you're flying to 400m and have the option of a legal VTX that craps out at 500m LOS and another legal VTX that craps out at 7km I'd rather have the latter.

Been waiting on my qx 7 in mail seems like forever now, but is my first fpv transmitter purchace. Thank you for showing it. Think Mr. Steel should try and trick that qx 7 out with gimbles and antanners so I can /copy paste mine :)
So Mr. Steele has gave more confidence to DJI manufacturer that they can build a FPV Racing Drone. Already on his channel he had made some acro flying on DJI phantom long back. Too bad that DJI guys didn't give any credits or thanks to Mr.steele for giving confidence and showing the sample build for their future builds 😃

That was the shortest 8mins and 46 seconds of my life i think... seriously missing some content i think with this video. Maybe it was just me. All in all. an ok video.
I didn't dislike it. just would have been nice to see more then a 1 minute and a half of flight time compared to the 7 mins comentary. Would have likes to have seen a little more is all.

Pleco of I agree it does get old but this was just way to loud for some reason. The transition was really horrible. And the music over their reactions (I'd rather hear what they are saying about it) really killed it for me.

So that's why the VLOGs are a bit on pause on respective channels, you guys are busy flying DJI new racing quad... I was aware of this product since last year but after the release of the Mavic Pro, i did not think they would have made it but apparently they are still going in that way! Still surprised we don't get the whole FPV camera, FC and radio control entirely manufactured from DJI, probably why this is called prototype i guess!
Hey guys I wanted to know if yu guys can help me out with my drone I recently bought a falcon 180 drone rtf kit with the fpv and everything. But the problem is I am. Not able to fly it yet. Me and my friend already programmed it on clear flight but still. Nothing what I noticed is the the joy stick that control the throttle is not working but the steering is since it has the led bar on the back yu can see that the drone does work but why can't I fly I just want to fly man I need help.

I fly Mavic and P4 as well as home built QAV 250 and I always have to take a few minutes when I switch to the QAV to get used to the fact that it will plough itself into the ground if I fly like I do the Mavic. Hopefully DJI fans won't buy this and expect the same easy flights :) Thanks for a great vidjeo guys!!

DJI are great for advancing the hobby by making it mainstream, this enabled more people to get into first quads and then racing which is why flying is half the cost of what it was a year ago. However once first time fliers buys this, thinking that it's 'easy' to fly a racing drone our hobby will be in trouble...
yes, big YES!! I'd love to see a full unboxin vid, with bind to your personal quad and setup for your 5" (250 free style quad)... I've been trying to get something with more customization and tx range upgrades. I'd like to get a mile range, unlike my Spektrum dx6.
Thank You for doing a quick review on the DJI Snail...any reason you didn't use the Snail ESC's that actually come with the kit? I was happy with the vid until I noticed you were missing the actual proper ESC's

I like all things DJI, but for some reason, for FPV I really like the not so common brands! I also hope they change its design because it didn't wow me like DJI usually does!! #KeepRippingGuys
Another great episode! Other then the fact that I noticed that you sped up some of your flight footage. Shame. You guys are great pilots, and want to see that- dont add effects to make yourself look cooler. Anyway, on the more positive side, I would love a video on the betaflight f3!
I've been using those motors for just over a month now and like them quite a lot, but admittedly don't have much to compare them against. flight times are pretty good with 1800mAh batteries.
More qx7 more beta flight board. Love dedicated reviews for both. Also you should try the new turnigy controllers. Try the turnigy evolution, the gimbles are much better than the taranus.
I have a love hate for DJI, but I hope that it works out well for us the flyers, though it will most likely cost a small fortune! Btw, Aren't cats the funniest, whenever you are trying to do something that requires full attention, there they come. And they are persistent little buggers! Lol
Definitely cant wait for a review on the radio...picked up my first drone about a week ago and spent some time with it this weekend. got pretty decent on instinctive control to the point i dont make quick overractions. cartwheeled a couple times and stuck in a tree...but i didnt bust a prop or break anything. if anything it has some character now. good times...so yeah review on that radio and yes im brave alreafy working an idea for a ground up diy concept. safe flying!!!
Interesting I am sure someone will get this and then mix and match parts to work out the bugs. The radio dose look good and strange how it can be cheaper than the Std Taranis, wonder what is the cheap bit? Ps love seeing you all working together
I have some mixed feelings about the esc board tho. I mean if you get this frame you buy it for the compatibility with the snails and takyon but... they dont seem that well of a combination together do they ? I still loved the motors and the frame. the esc board ... idk.
could you test this setup with the 5024 2 blade props? and also the other prop adapter for a normal prop with your preferred props. the price is right for their motor and speed control set. but there aren't a lot of real reviews and maybe the prop combos they offer are just wrong.
