I only wish I had seen your video before returning my dji rs3. I could balance my canon c70 but it wouldn’t stay balanced for long. I think the extended base plate would have made the difference.
Using the Canon EOS C70 and Ronin RS2. At DJI, they show this pair isn’t compatible. I was able to use the record button on the gimbal. Did an update on the camera, now unable to record from gimbal. Have you experienced any compatibility issues and can you record from the button on the gimbal? Thank you, cam
I think because we're coming from the Movi Pro with heavier camera packages, this setup actually seems pretty light to us. That being said, because of the tripod mount, it's a pretty easy rig to put down between takes and we probably don't end up carrying it for longer than 10-15 minutes at a time (I do put it down every few minutes). Stretches and core exercises are your best friends when operating any gimbal 🙏
Yes! This happened to me too. I bought the ronin and it wouldn’t connect. I couldn’t use any gimbal functions. I’d just have to use it as a stabilizer. I don’t understand how some RU-vidrs have got it to work. Even DJI company told me it is not compatible with C70 so I had to return it.
Revert back to the original RS2 firmware. I believe it stopped working with the first update after launch and as far as I know they never patched it for compatibility. I can start/stop and use manual focus through the RS2 on the C70.
@@autojahnvonbaron5083 we have firmware version 1.05.00.20, and we do not have start/stop/lens control with it. Are you saying that an earlier firmware version that it worked with the C70?
