Literally been comparing these two because before the weebill S was the smallest cheapest option but DJI overcame them with this gimbal especially with the options and usability, thanks for giving an honest review!

Was literally looking this just up. You can get the Weebil S used for like $150 now, and it's been the standard compact for the past few years, so this was the comparison I was looking for. If all the new bells and whistles worth the extra $150 with the rsc3 mini. Thanks for putting this up Terry, hope all is well!

Underslung mode with mounted tripod as a handle is one of the best things of Weebill S. The center of weight literally hangs below your wrist which is awesome for taking smooth shots without getting exhausted! Still using Weebill S with my a7sIII + Sigma Art 24-70mm DG DN f/2.8 & Sigma Art 24mm DG DN f/1.4. I have more than 50 music videos shot on Weebill S + a7sIII. Yes sometimes I need to use Warp Stab in post but actually for compact and so cheap gimbal it works like a charm. The thing I would go for is RS3 Pro just to have this smoother shots without wasting time on Warp stabilizing in post. btw. important downside of Weebill S: it's plastic so my joystick stuck in tilting upwards (it just broke in my 5th project) so I had to decrease speed of joystick to zero (0) (disabled) so it's like you don't have a joystick anymore which is bad when you need it.

Always dig the content man! I've used the weebil s for quite awhile to get some awesome shots for my channel. But i have ran into the arm lock mechanisms stop being able to lock; otherwise great gimbal for its age and price! Carries an A7iii with sigma 24-70 no prob🤘🤘

Great video, Terry! I have a Weebill-S for a fairly heavy rig. It does great! I'm used to the UI, so that doesn't both me. Big Weebill Plus for me: I love using a second arm where the underslung handle goes. It really helps with fatigue and extra stability. Big Weebill Miss for me: I wish I could do vertical video.

The deal breaker is the battery swapping. That was the reason why I bought the Weebill in the past. The problem with built-in batteries is they can deteriorate over time and you have to change the whole device itself as it can no longer hold a 100% charge

the rs3 mini is a game changer in 2023,its more advanced and has got alot of advantages compared to the zhiyun gimbals 🎥

I have the RS3 mini and it's the perfect travel gimbal. Payload to size and the features just make it perfect.

I have the fx3 and weebill s, and I shoot vertically, using the side screw on the fx3 body. If I didn’t already own the weebill s I’d jump on the rs mini 3, but the weebill s has been such a great gimbal and continues to perform well after many years of use.

Im using weebil s for a several years..pretty happy with it considering the price..and the battery life is just amazing... Last a full day.. charges Very fast

Will it be able to hold up sigma 24-70 with Sony A7iii as I read a lot of reviews saying the view finder rubber sticks to the motor at the back

Dope comparison. I have the Weebil S and its been great. I fly it with my Sony FX30 with a decently weighted lens with the matte box with EASE... I am glad someone other than me is still using that gimbal because I love mine. The RS3 Mini looks like a great gimbal though.

I have the weebill s and I have hade it for a while now, and I never had any problems with it, I bring it with me on every shoot I still use the ronin m for most things but I break the weebill s out when I’m in tight spaces and it has never failed me

I took the weebill S onto a 33 day europe trip and I can say it works... but the lock on 1 of the axis is now loose...That means its harder to balance the gimbal now that the lock is loose. Also it doesnt save your motor power settings and its overpowered for a7c + 35mm f1.8. Which means every time you adjust the motor power and turn it off... you have to adjust it AGAIN every time you use it!!! Annoying as hell. There was also a drifting issue... I have 'calibrated it' and yet to try it again. We shall see if it still drifts.

I quit buying gimbals after I got the Weebill S. Plus I got it used pretty cheap.

Does the dji connect to iphone as i have a small rig case and mic light on it and reg phone gimbles can’t support its weight but i want a small gimble

Great presentation. I believe Zhiyun gimbals are just better and best bang for your buck overall. We use the weeble S and crane 3s flawlessly in our productions.

Over exaggerated some of the issue you came up with for the Weebil but everyone has there opinions but nonetheless good comparison

Back to the drawing board for Zhiyun I guess. They should focus not on keeping the price low but rather on making sure to give what customers want in terms of performance and usability. This video clearly shows that even with the almost $100 difference the RS3 Mini is still the preferred choice even if it is pretty basic.

This gimbal might be the reason I keep my A7iv and not jump on the S5. We'll see.

If someone uses a Sony fx6 on this they might not from earth. There are plenty of other stronger gimbals are in the market. Then why use a heavier camera on a small gimbal.
