DJI Ryze Tello Drone Range Test 

Try using a WiFi extender, it will go alot farther. Elevate the extender somehow. Buy a small USB Battery powerbank to power it. Try also doing it on a less windy day and turn on the high speed or sport mode in the settings to handle the winds better. Theres also new app for it now, I forget what its called, it uses the GPS on your phone and triangulates the drone somehow so you get a psuedo-GPS through just downloading a different app. This includes a return to home. Might cost $5 or so. Its 3rd party but supposedly better than DJIs app. Even though this is a old drone, its seems to have a niche following and new life can be put into it by doing these things.

Nice test, I bought one a while back and use it with a wifi repeater. With the wifi repeater it can go very far with better video quality too, I don't remember how much exactly because I didn't record the Telemetry in the tello fpv app

that went so far. could you still see it with your eyes. 50ft thats amazing for a 400$ drone .
