There have been concerns over Novak Djokovic’s fitness at times during the 2023 Australian Open but there were absolutely no worries on display from the Serbian as he hammered Alex De Minaur in straight sets on Monday. Djokovic looked in fantastic form, with his service game in particular standing out. He will now face Andrey Rublev in the last eight.

The "debate" has already ended for quite sometime now... Just narrow minded people who tend to condense the entirety of Tennis as a sport in a single number of specific trophies are left to "debate" about it. Djokovic has shattered everything on his path the last 12 years... the Greatest Players, the Crowds, the Media, the Governments... everything. Even if he doesnt win the AO, he is by far the most insane combination of skill and mindest not just in Tennis but in sports in general. The fact that he is just shy 1 slam when he has so much more than the competition just about everywhere esle means squat. But no matter. He will break that record as well. He is... INEVITABLE.

The way Novak played this match reminds me a lot of the AO final from 2019 with Nadal! When a Novak plays at his level and this aggressively its scary! @knotwilg3596
@knotwilg3596 Год назад
When seeing Djokovic forehand these days, I have a similar feeling as Federer's backhand in the AO 2017. "Where did that come from?" Djokovic has always been known for his fantastic ability to return serve, his 2H backhand being the stroke most players would love to have. He would win matches based on consistency and mental toughness, turning defense into attack almost unnoticed, exhausting his opponents with placement. You wouldn't call him out on an exceptional forehand, like you would with Federer, Nadal or Del Potro. In this match he's slapping forehand winners like never before, paired to an ever so high consistency. What a weapon!

They are all waiting for him to retire during his matches. 👏 Nobody can't do anything. They will have to play the match of their lives if they want to have a chance to be at a level that could match Djokovic level. For me Korda Vs Djokovic in the final will be a great match to see if Korda maintains his level.
