Coming back that soon from injury with this crowd being disrespectful and winning like nothing, djokovic will always be the most competitive player in the history of tennis thats a fact, congrats nole. here from a spaniard fan of nadal and alcaraz
How were they disrespectful? He's a tennis player. Literally makes money from people going to see him? I think he's super boring to watch but that's my opinion to have
Roger and pretty much nadal are gone. There is no reason to hate on this man, what he is doing at his age in tennis is so inspiring. He should be celebrated every time he steps onto the court
seriously. people will always have their excuses, but the fact his done it in the strongest era in tennis with nadal, fed, stan, murray, and many other greats and hes still doing it to the next generation is truly unbelievable. it might be one of the most amazing things ive seen in all of sports and what does he get? he gets booed everytime he steps onto the court, its sickening.
They dislike (some even hate) him because of his nationality. He is not one of them and they will never accept him as equal, no matter how many times he wins. It's as simple as that. Every other explanation is just an excuse.
I give a huge credit to those who are in charge of Wimbledon highlights. It is real art to fit 3 sets in 2.55 minutes of highlights. I understand that an extra minute would be a luxury for RU-vid viewers.
@@alexten9961 Due to the video length cap. 😆It’s like we are in 2006 again. Next they’ll downgrade the quality to 240p when we won’t be able to see the ball at all 🤣🤣🤣
@@douchopotamus3755 Nothing to watch for me on TV. To watch of a few games a year, it is not worth subscribing. I have more important things to do with my life.
The haters should understand that some day they will tell their grandkids that they were lucky to live in the Djokovic era to watch the Greatest tennis player ever play!

Yeah, in the early rounds I understand if they dont have time to put out extended highlights for every match. But for 4th round and beyond surely its not so much to ask.
Incompetency shows, tens of millions in sponsorship deals, broadcast rights, ticket sales, pavilon rentals, souvenir shops income. And they can't hire a dedicated social media dude / dudette. Such an easy job, but an important one.
nice to see a spanish speaker appreciating Djokovic. Alcaraz and Nadal are scary men too. I hope Djokovic can get his revenge on Alcaraz to continue the cross-generational rivalry.
i can only imagine the dedication it takes to be at this level for as long as he has. its even more impressive that he never had the pure talent of roger and nadal, he just put in the work and willed his way to be better than them.
Federer is the Karen's non-statistical GOAT and the objectively statistical third wheel behind Novak and Rafa. 24 > 22 > 20. Losing H2H to both Novak and Rafa. 0 Olympic Gold in singles. Less than 30 Masters 1000. While Novak has a Triple Career Grand Slam and Nadal a Double Career Grand Slam, Federer merely has a single Career Grand Slam, thus being the less complete at the Slam level.
I must be missing something because I grew up through the Federer and Nadal years. I remember when Novak burst on the scene. I was a big Federer fan and also cheered for Federer. But I predicted Novak will be better than Fed and Rafa. This was in 2011. Everyone called me crazy. I enjoyed watching all 3 of them but last 5 years I became more of a Djokovic fan because of what he has to constantly endure from hater’s. I still don’t understand how someone can not like him. He is much more likable to me than Federer or Nadal.
Same but I started a Nadal fan because he was the underdog to Federer. But I slowly became a Djokovic fan because I saw how fans and media were treating him. And for all he's accomplished it's still pretty bad. And now they've jumped on the Alcaraz and Sinner train while Novak is still playing. Usually people support the greats while they're playing. But I guess he beat their guys too much. There's too much pain there for them to support Novak now. 😂
I like all the big three but definitely feel Nole is more real. He strikes me as a player that has people around him that help him with being an incredible tennis player. He doesn't seem to worry about appearing the way other people might want him to look. Especially other people outside the sport except for when they wanna complain about stuff. All the strength to the great man!
@@johanns7302 He was prepared to sacrifice his career refusing the jab; he was sent as 12 year old abroad to learn, without his family. Here in this case, he openly said what he dislikes
These idiots in the crowd... Nole has given them so much pain because they never ever thought he would surpass their beloved Roger. They never forgave him for that 2019 40-15 championship points. Its been piling up for so long, the frustration is through the roof!
Novak is the goat man... his efficiency and longevity in this sport is just unrivaled imo. It is undervalued and not appreciated enough! Strong performance Novak 👏
Perhaps because Nole did not allow him to play his best? I mean Nole is pretty aggressive then when he wants he'll volley and put it out of his reach. Kinda hard to play your "best" when your opponent is an all-around consistent player@ChickenChicken-ps3iu
Being a nadal fan i must say djokovic is greatest of all time...he is most momplete tennis player ever..if nadal had not face so many injuries in his career he could have won 28 slams till now...nadal was real fighter and nightmare for federer during 2008 to 2012..he defeated federer many times in his peak......
The most grand slams ever and a winning head-to-head record vs Nadal and Federer. We should all appreciate Djokovic still performing at an elite level while it lasts. He's 37 and Nadal is nearly retired and can't win grand slams now, and Federer has retired already. The end of the big 3 era is nearly finished so enjoy the last one while it lasts
Djokovic was so good today. Don’t think he was being boo’d though, it was Rune fans chanting ‘Ruuuuuuune’ BUT the timing of it was what annoyed him. They were doing it right after his errors.
He looked good but has more unforced errors than winners and his percentages of winning his first service point is not really good. Rune was particularly bad (first serving) so it made the match easy for Djokovic. This performance will not be good enough against Sinner (or Alcaraz).
@@JuventinoDOC33 I'm sure there are more of the professional sportsmen who did not take it. Only they are cowards to admit it. Another point why I love Novak is his honesty and sportmanship!
Hmm? Why? Its just an intelligent decision. I told my workplace if they put 2,000,000.00 on the table in cash I would not take the jab. He doesn't need the $ obviously and stood up for what he believed. Anyone that did any research whatsoever would have never believed in what lies were being perpetrated .

From my perspective, they weren’t booing Djokovic because when Djokovic won a rally, they didn’t “Boo” but when Rune won a rally, it sounded like they were booing but the crowd was cheering rune, they would have booed him when Djokovic won a point.. I think the greatness of Djokovic is so mesmerizing and the people in the stands love watching him play so much that sometimes they would rather see a match go five sets just to see more play. I don’t think they were necessarily booing Djokovic. They were just cheering more for room because they like an underdog going the distance with the best in the game, they probably was some outliers of people that were booing because it sounds like rune so they can kill two birds with one stone
I have seen tennis since 24 years but I never saw like djokovic dominance in each grand slam no player even nearer to his 30% because he is injured very few times recover very fast......he won grandslams after 26 or 27 year old properly except some grandslams .....player like djokovic never come.......he is g.o.a.t and true legend ...........salute to my favorite player and I m die hearted fan of Novak.......
I expected Rune to be more challenging than that but credits to Djoko. If he maintains this level throughout the tournament, he might actually lift the wimbledon trophy this year.
