Nole wasn’t tested in this tournament so far, so we can’t say if he was playing smart or not, all his opponents whom he played against so far was a walk in the park for him, ADM would have been kind of a test for him but didn’t happen, so his first test is going to be in the final

Musetti's slices won't cause any trouble to Novak's backhand. Fritz made a truckload of unforced errors due to Musetti's variety. But for Novak that's easy meat. If you want to hurt Novak, you need to come in with a weapon and deploy that consistently in a best-of-5. Even if Musetti brings in a killer 1HB down the line, which is his only real weapon, he won't take Novak to 5 with that. Straight sets most likely, maybe 4.

He will, you know musetti is like Federer with good/better defensive tactics from clay to grass, he's returning good serving good, he just needs mental strength in this match, without the mental confidence he won't be going down the line (bckhnd) as much leading to less tactical options

I am inclined to think it does not matter whether it is 3,4 or 5 sets, especially to the fans who have the tickets. The biggest fear is an anti climax with Musetti retiring too early despite taking the battle to Djokovic.

Cam, there is one RU-vidr 'Emil Cosman' mentioned about Novak's on-court interview/booing crowds in match against Rune. it seems saying 'Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuune' by the crowd is similar to 'Let's go Brendon' (used in America) type of insult eupherism. go and watch it. Few people in the crowd is silly.

Physically, Musetti will win the first 2 sets. Then he will get nervous and start to fall apart, Djokovic will come back to win in 5.

TBH I won't be surprised if it's a one sided match. Fritz is very one dimensional player and that's where he lost. No drop shots , so slices , no net game .... Only baseline striking against a quality player won't be enough. Novak will make mussetti run like anything. Mussetti stands way behind the baseline. Djokovic will mix up with surprise drop shots , line to line slices and quality serving and volleying It's should be an easy win for nole , if not easy a 4set win

toxic luckynolevic fans will jump and scream their toxic words as they will never recognise how lucky Nole was in 3 or 4 Grand Slams that he won,so much luck even this year...but we nadal fans will always know,if rafa was healthy as much as nole was,and didnt had that lots of injuries,he would be at least 25 26 slams allready ahead,it s kinda the same story with R9 Phenomeno,that only won 2 ballon d ors despite having to deal most of his career with injuries

And apart from that how many times he had to withdrew from mid tournament. And also he suffered from foot disease throught his career . And also 2 gs played on hard court.
