This is the vlog I’ve wanted for 3 years. I don’t know why but for some reason I’ve always loved the look of this park and the lack of videos online in English is shocking and frustrating. So happy this videos finally here!
It’s amazing to see how this park has changed over the years. Djurs Sommerland is a park that has amazing theming and a great collection of rides and coasters. I wish that Drayton Manor and Pleasurewood Hils could get the love that this park has.
Looks like you had a great day! That little sidebar before you went on the Gyroswing together was really heartening to see, so important to respect each other's boundaries! Thanks for all the great content!
Welcome to my country guys - happy to see you enjoyed and thanks a lot for making such a great reaction video - so much energy and enthusiasm - Love it ✌️ Cheers from Denmark 🇩🇰☀️
What a great looking park! Love how well themed it is, and I really wasn't expecting the invert to look as good as it did. Thanks for bringing us along in your first time at this park, it's great to follow your adventures and be part of it all!
Love going to first time theme parks with you and Charlotte😀 Love all your enthusiasm and sharing the fun and laughter🤗 And what a fantastically themed park😍 Can't wait to watch the next vlog!
I go to Denmark every 2-3 years to see relatives and we always rent a specific summer house each time which is like a 15 minute drive from Djurs, we always go every time we are in Denmark and it is a fantastic park, great staff, food and coasters.
I love how positive you guys are❤i watch to get memories,we was their with some kids a year ago,i always hated rollercoasters since i was child, but thiat year i love the park 🎉❤
Fabulous vlog from a fabulous park. What a great layout and vibe to the park. Some fabulous rides there too and great family fun coasters. Love the water rides too and it’s so funny to see Charlotte getting soaked. She did well to go on that giant gyro swing, horrible thing! I like that the theming has been given some credible thought with the music playing and the landscaping. Great vlog and look forward to more soon. Well done😉👌
This was sick! I’m so thrilled that you two enjoyed this park as much as I do! And I don’t feel as alone with liking Juvelen more than Piraten anymore hehe, oh and I’m real glad that you mentioned the staff as well! I’ve never seen people be more happy at a job than the people at Djurs, so many of them are so energetic and you’d feel like you could be good friends with pretty much any of them, and if I wasn’t a six hour train ride from home to Djurs, I would be working there right now 😆 My favorite TPW vlog right next to the Heide Park trip and the previous Denmark trip, I love watching them so much! ❤️🎢
@@ThemeParkWorldwide What a lovely park. So open and good theming and quite a few great rides. That quad bike coaster looked amazing. Nice of them to invite you in and let us get all the pov's
I wish this park was in the UK it has perfect roller coasters for people ready to step up from beginner coasters to extreme great vlog as always TPW crew
@@beanieshark05 you can push you self so much that you don't have fear of roller coasters anymore like i was afraid of juvelen for so many years but 2 years ago i made it so i did it and ever since i was trying all of it
Great vlog, I agree with you when you say they could do with some more inverted coasters however didn’t think of that till you mentioned it at the end 😂 what a great park.
Such a shame I wasn’t following your RU-vid channel back then when this video was uploaded. Wish I was though. Your theme park RU-vid channel is so good. I like to go back on the good content that I missed from when I knew nothing about your channel ❤😊
Its wild how little of an effort this park could put extra in to it and it will be in top 3 in europe. Its the perfect family park they just need to round out the thrill market.
I really enjoy your vlogs able to see other theme parks with your experience of parks i don't understand why one of our parks don't have you as a consultant you really understand the importance of having the correct rides and themes keep on vloging
Im from denmark and the reason i wanted to look after these vids were because i enjoyed the time at the park i had and i Think they could invest more in rollercoasters with loops
Wow! Such a great new vlog. The park is amazing! I'm so glad you two got to experience it together and from the looks of it, it looks like you had a great weather day. I look forward to your new vlogs. Stay safe!
Great vlog as usual! You two have such great chemistry and complement each other so well. You should do a compilation video of Charlotte on water rides. Her reactions are just priceless!
6:08 I thought in the last video we decided if there's only 1 drop it's not a special ;) haha Gyroswings are totally my favorite too. You get insane floater airtime on them. Reminds me of B&M floater. And you really get a feeling of... the force of the pendulum. The swing reminds me of doing a backflip off of swings as a kid at the park. Looks like only thing park really needs is a looping coaster. Maybe a launched looper.
Seeing you try all the rides made me remember when I went to Djurs Sommerland some years ago with my sister and her boyfriend (he's not a big fan of rollercoasters that he deems 'too wild' like Piraten and Dragekongen so he often stays behind and holds our bags and glasses :) - though he was able to try Juvelen, and liked it). I remember that I saw dark spots when I tried Piraten for the first time and Juvelen is amazing. My sister's boyfriend and I were defeated by the pirate ship in the viking area - we got so motion sick that we had to sit down for a while and recover and my sister chose that moment to send a short video to our family telling how much fun we were having while 2 of us were don for the count XD Looking forward to the rest of your vlogs from Denmark :D
When you was eating your fish and chips at 20:10, i could here the same soundtrack that is used at Legoland Windsor in Pirate Shores and on the Jolly Rocker ride.
That bouncy bubble reminded me of the Water Bubbles you get at Waterparks. Mind, I've only seen one other than Orlando WetnWild had one but now closed. The other one is in Rhodes, Faliraki Waterpark. They are great fun.
I loved watching this vlogs with loads of epic soakers lol 🤩 as for Charlotte she deserves alot of recognition for her bravery going on these water rapids including your favourite spinning swinging flat ride Shawn... I’m not quite sure how to pronounce IT Kiro swing ride, these parks are amazing relaxing with the ambiance that’s full of positivity heavy theming throughout i must admit those random animatronic unexpected soakers are quite funny but refreshing on those very hot hümnid days, some of the rides theming layout is a cool combination of Chessington, Great Yarmouth, quad bike rollercoaster similar to Hagrid’s ride, these various heavy theming are impressive enhancing the park
That was super entertaining. Fandabbydozy !!! Thinking they may add a hotel or two, seeing as they have added a Waterpark recently. Thanks for showing.
Looks a great park ! Up there with the likes of toverland and phantasialand for parks that you just have a great time in without certain things annoying you throughout the day
They have a loose definition of a family coaster ... the second launch on the quad bike coaster looked as intense as any thrill coaster! First class theming and well filmed Shawn and Charlotte! A little hint for Charlotte ... tuck into Shawn's back to let Shawn take all the water! Sorry Shawn! LOL!
very good video Shawn and Charlotte, from Djurs Sommerland in Denmark for our first ever visit! In this vlog, we share on ride povs from all 8 of the roller coasters on offer at the park. This includes Piraten, Juvelen, DrageKongen and many more. We also experience all of the other major rides at the park along with taking in the full experience of Djurs Sommerland for the first time! keep the good videos up on the channel, I can't wait to see the next video on the trip from the next theme park, big thumbs up to you, both Shawn and Charlotte, on the channel.
Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow what a lovely park. Brilliant themeing loads of coasters amazing. Really made me chuckle when poor Charlotte was getting soaked on the octopus. I really wish Merlin would do something like this at our parks. Amazing vlog you both never fail to make me laugh I enjoy your vlogs so much. Thankyou for sharing with us love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
That quad bike ride looks cool! I have been on a real quad bike in the Mexican Jungle. It was scary and I crashed into a tree and got flung over the front of the bike!
that's in the furtuer becuse there spend double the monney on dinoland then the tiger also mack is really good wooden coaster i don't think that's good
Excellent blog and great theme park in Denmark, for newbies to country, is it pretty easy to get to the park by public transport or do you ideally need a hire / own car ?
Great vlog I'm honestly surprised you think the theming is as good as it is. But yeah The park kinda used to have a dark ride. It was located right where Dinosaurland is now and was part of the parks old Afrikaland section. It was called "Chico and the poachers Jungle Safari" and was a boat ride similar to Jungle cruise where you went together with the monkey Chico to free his friends from Poachers in the jungle. The area also used to feature an obstacle course in the area around the boat ride. The King Kong animatronic seems to be reused from that boat ride. And yeah the park has no rides that go upside down but thats because the family owners who own the park themselves don't like going upside down. And though their leadership is definitely great, you sometimes wish they would go that extra step and just once get a coaster than goes upside down like 2 or 3 times.
