If Seattle uses JSN correctly (middle of the field, like a Cooper Kupp) with DK over the top pulling safeties, the two will be alternating one on one coverage the entire season keeping defenses honest. This is clearly Lockett's last season... I don't see why you wouldn't extend DK. How Waldron used JSN last year (50% of completions were behind the LOS) was absolutely ridiculous. JSN is NOT a Deebo screen type player... he's an underneath route runner and he actually proved he can be a downfield threat. There is zero reason to be throwing screens to him as much as Seattle did. It was very obvious the entire offense was frustrated with Waldron/Carroll last year. JSN was visibly upset, DK was upset, Walker/Charbs were showing frustration, Geno was annoyed on several camera takes... DK is very well spoken and a team leader. I feel like the penalties last year and critique he had, was a result of the frustration of Seattle's coaching staff... That was VERY obvious with a LOT of players on the team... and the reason there was a massive coaching change.

The dude is a mad dog on the field and so polite and respectful off of it. Sure he gets dumb penalties sometimes but he’s an enforcer and the kind of player defenses fear
