DL is sharp, don't agree with everything he says, but love to here what he has to say. I will always, listen to him.This man is blessed, with knowledge, sharp !!!
I love the way he thinks....its refreshing to see a person speak freely. Awesome interview I seen DL perform live before I didnt appreciate it. I need to see him live again😊
For only having a GED, DL is a very intelligent and articulate man. I'm college educated and he is smarter than most educated people with masters degrees. He reminds me of Malcolm x in that sense.
I think about quite a few of the comedians who did not attend college e.g. Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, They are thinkers, intellectual, keen observers of the human condition. Your level of formal education does not define your intelligence. Dave Chappelle's parents were both college educators. He was doing stand up from around age 14. His father reasoned why go to college if it doesn't prepare you for what you will be doing?

This is the best eye opener to the understanding of a Black man living in America .. I am white . I am not racial , but I really could not imagine the different experiences and how they affect Black people , because I have not experienced the same .

Because of "Different World" I made up my mind as a young child that I would attend a HBCU. I did & graduated. There needs to be more shows like that today
Yeah, that's a stigma that needs to be dropped fast. I thank God for my mother. I watched that woman work full time and attend University. My Dad worked and was and avid reader, hell I couldn't wait to learn to read so I could find out what was so interesting. Museums, plays boring ass orchestra music. Brownies, modelling-poise. In order to parent successfully you gotta be committed to what's best for them. I went another direction w mine- wrong
I’m so proud of DL Hughley. He is an example of using your platform for the advancement of our people. The fact that he is up there talking to VLAD like that about white peoples with VLAD being white is superb. DL is a bad man. Bad in a good way!!

Dave chapelle used to be my favorite comedian for his intelligence, his intellectual point of view Lately DL Hughley become my #1 comedian he is naturally smart , intelligent , honest and funny I have a lot of respect for him 👏 .
Well Sunshine👒 until you get ALL the answers to the questions about what's going on in YOUR own life; until you have solved all the mysteries about what YOU'RE going through on a day to day and a year to year basis; until those magical, mystical events happen you just make sure you don't worry yourself about D.L.'s life or anyone else's life for that matter being "clean" or not. In other words: You worry about your OWN fuck ups, mistakes and missteps that you commit in your own life because God is never going to ask you about any one else's. Now you can wipe your nose and go run and tell that.
DL doesn't get the "bathroom thing" 2:02:22 so a male parent who sends his female child to the woman's bathroom, shouldn't have a problem with a guy in a wig and a dress going in right after?

In reference to some saying Caitlin is pretty verses Venus Williams being manly as a black woman. His comparison and how society would consider a man who has became a woman beautiful and how a natural woman is being depicted as ugly . Did I miss something
I thank D.L.for his seemingly patient tolerance; his tenacity to express his comfortability with truth. Even when being interrogated by interviewers,he stays on point and keeps them honest.
This is the perfect example of natural brilliance, integrity, class and completely standing up for our people (African Americans) we are still learning bcuz of legends like this I couldn't find 1 thing to disagree with him on ✊
It just goes to show you DL Hughley was an actual gang member. And you would have never guessed it because he hardly ever talks about it. And 95% of these rapper claim to be gang members and drug dealers and has never participated in the streets in their life. Just goes to show you when you from it you carry yourself a certain type of way when you leave it and leave it food for thought
I HATEDDD His show but man he is a very intellectual guy. I feel like he got funnier later on in his career but he is very informative and knows his shit about what's goin on. Thumbs up for DL
Was able to catch DL, George Lopez, Charlie Murphy (RIP), Ced the ENT, & Eddie Griffin live in Sacramento.. Swear my stomached was in pain due to all the laughing lol one of the best nights I can remember
MXNEY BOYZ Saw them in Vegas... no Charlie Murphy though, he was sick that night. 🙁 Definitely was an amazing show, had us laughing for days afterwards
“If Stevie Wonder could see do you think this place would look so raggedy?” Hilarious! After Chappell, DL is my favorite comedian working today. Both are extremely intelligent and thoughtful with their social commentary.
One of the best interviews I have ever heard... It was interesting from the first minute to the last. Much respect for the interviewer and the interviewee ! It was nice too to have enough time to be natural and relaxed and listen to a couple of guys kickin'it that actually had really intelligent things to say. A well-spent 2 hours. Thank you so much !
