The main reason NPCs don't dodge Impenetrable Thorns is because the spell is based on Briars of Punishment which NPCs also do not dodge. And because of that, Briars of Punishment is one of the best spells for cheesing Malenia due to it also having pretty large range.

Who would have fuckin known the bleed sorcerie was the best sorcery for taking down an enemy that can't be bled. I think i will be using thorns from now on, on furnace golems

Do we think Thorns gets a nerf in the next update? I have a feeling it will but its probably gonna be like the Bloodfiends Arm. Thorns is coded in such a weird way that i dont really know how they are gonna nerf it 😂

The Thorns are bugged in the same way that Rolling Sparks was bugged. It sends out 3 lines of hitboxes then they all explode and cause bleed, when used up close, all those hitboxes hit at the same time and all cause bleed individually. Same way how rolling sparks sent out a line of hitboxes but when aimed down the line of hitboxes just scrunched up in the same place doing insane damage. OnlyWaifu made a great vid with visable hitboxes about how bugged Thorns is

Gino did u know the slight skip in rauh ruins? Right after u kill the guy with the pot for skipady frag u can jump down on the tree instead of going around to cross the bridge with funace basket face?

I noticed pretty much zero difference using casting speed talismans with impenetrable thorns.

This may be a hot take, but AoE spells are usually more expensive, because you're supposed to use them on crowds and by hitting multiple targets, they would become very efficient. Following this philosophy, having them be en par in terms of cost with single target spells would make single target spells entirely obsolete or very situational at best.

Imagine in dlc you can cast two spells at the same time with right and left staffs

Tank build with thorns. Is there an easier way to play the game than that?

Could an all bosses dlc run be successfully completed in 1 stream with only utilizing a dagger ( any variant or level) while unarmored, without buffs, summons, magic, or ashes of war while using the 2- Soreseals + the 2- Shabiri talismans for likely 1 shot death by enemy for a non perfect execution of gameplay?
