Great guide ! My fav weapon pack is weapon pack 1, I love the crossbow and the 22 really comes in handy! But my favorite rifles in the game have to be the 300 and the 303.
Awesome picks Ashley!…. What if they gave us a shotgun under for the ZARZA-10 .308? It would be a modernized version of the GRELCK DRILLING, but backwards.. 🤔
My favourite is by far the Zarza .308 - everything about the rifle is awesome. Stopping power, follow-ups, precision... it murders entire herds in one go. I also prefer the .300 Canning for large game, the .338 is just too heavy and not really better. The Virant .22 is basically a must have, 10 rounds with zero recoil can wipe out a flock of birds like not even the Cacciatore could. Regarding bows, it's the crossbow for me. Very enjoyable, can shoot from prone without investing precious points into bows, super deadly, fast reload, and best scope of all bows IMO. Haven't played a lot with the 7mm so far - it is very versatile with 4-9, but i just love my Zarza too much to be using the 7mm against sub-8 animals, and then i can just bring the .300 anyways. Speaking of versatile weapons, the Solokhin should be a strong contender for being 3-7, but it is just... off. The reload is janky, the precision is weirdly unreliable, the rifle is just icky. Shotguns i very much dislike, they are just too unreliable (shot lots of goats and bucks at 12-20m range broadside and lost many a perfect kill by either hitting the trophy or missing deadly organs, WTF?) and pistols just are not my playstyle, even though the .454 Rhino has some fun to it. I see no use for all the class 2-4 rifles, and since the Solokhin just sucks i actually have to bring good old .243 Ranger to many reserves... this is something that should be adressed by some weapon i think. I tried the Zarza .223 yesterday on Emerald Coast, and it struggles with those lvl 3 hog deer - you always have to give a follow-up shot to even have a chance of getting the 100% efficiency bonus. I'd love to get another 2-6 rifle, choices in this class are too limited with the Ranger and the Whitlock which can't use the good scopes. Or just stick to pistols for the 2-3 range, but that means giving up the range (or in case of the .243 Cuomo, magazine size).
A great guide Lady thank you for this great upload and thank you for all the hard work and time you put into these videos to help us all out. A thumbs up from me all day.
This is really helpful for me because I'm newer to the game and want to make an infirmed decision on which dlc to buy, thank you, also have you made more videos about newer dlcs with weapons? If so I'll obviously want to watch those too
Hey Lady, you’re shot with the muzzleloader was completely fine; it’s bugged atm, it shoots far right from where you aim so it wasn’t a bad shot on your side
Thank you so much for the video, allways nice to have an overview. My favorite loadout for all situations are the zarza-10 and the zarza 308, completed with the 300 canning magnum. And for classes 2-3 I still use the good old ranger, I wonder if there ever will be a new weapon that really outshines this basic weapon?
The ping from the real world M1 garand was actually a weakness, if you were close enough the enemy could hear when you had to reload and take advantage of it. Luckily the deer doesn't shoot back
I was really happy when they introduced the 7mm bolt vs the empress I had been using all this time. Now I can actually get a follow up shot if needed, whereas with the empress it was usually a foregone conclusion that if I missed with the first shot for vitals, I was doomed.
My favorite weapon is the power pack. That 7mm is a favorite! I found out that the 10 gauge with slugs is the best weapon on a charging Cape that's within stomp range. You can get those 3 shots off very quickly! I never hunt Africa without it.
Zarza-15 22LR has 6 shots not 5 (It's 5 , I edited later, it's my bad, so sorry for that) also, it's even quiter than Virant. If you want more chances to miss -> Virant is much better. If you want precision and even more stealth -> Zarza -15 22LR. That's how I differentiate'em both. Sadly, Grelck Shotgun had a bug for a while. Also being 5 kg is kinda bad. Anderson is literally a 1 kg version of Virant imo. Yes, it lacks the range but even tho it's max zeroing is 75, you can shoot further than that cuz the ammo's effective range is 100. And Cuz of that, Actually Anderson is really easy in 100 meters. Good for grinding handgun score. Also good for crowded universal load-outs, if the map you're gonna play has few Class 1 options, Anderson can cover that amount of game. Vasquez is an amazing "multi-target" , "shooting gallery" rifle imo . But 100-meter max zeroing is really bad. I wish it was 120 or 150 meters. Still a fun pick. Also, Vasquez is surprisingly strong. It kills quicker than you thought. Miller is my favorite shotgun. Ofc it's not the best waterfowl shotgun. But if you want a shotgun that is equally good for any occasion? Then Miller is that shotgun. It's only 3.5 kg, it can shoot anything from 1 to 9. And its slug shot's max zeroing is 150 meters. So it becomes a rifle. Also, old-school lever action adds a taste. Hudzik has a sight bug sadly. That's why I usually go with Curman when I wanna try a muzzleloading rifle. FL Supporter could be the best 4-8 rifle, and 300 Magnum is the best 7-9 rifle for sure. Amazing weapons. Hunter Power Pack is a bit disappointment compared to that price.
My favorite DLC weapon you didn't actually mention, is the 6.5 Martensen that comes with the Cuatro Colinas DLC. I know a lot of people hate on it for being weak, especially on bears and moose, but I love how flat shooting it is at longer distances, especially when I don't use Zeroing.
I don't know if anyone has said it, but apparently from what I heard, and saw from Scarecrow's one video (The 1800s one), that the muzzleloader (and maybe a few other guns) are having shots going to the right from where you're aiming.
Such a amazing community so lovely to se lots of nice comments I think I will get the power dlc and the 1st dlc do you think this is a good choice?????
If I could only use one gun for the whole game it would have to be the grelck 16ga with the big game cartridge, with bird and buck shot you can get the entire range from 1-9 with just one gun. It isn’t the best at any of those scenarios, but you can do it all just fine.
I have a question, I’m a person who when I’m playing games, I kind of wanna *earn* the guns and not just spawn in game and get all these awesome guns by the DLC without doing anything. If I buy these, will I get these instantly and ruin my gameplay or when I buy the dlc I have to buy it in game or earn it and it will balance my gameplay ?
I don't have a true favorite but do love the weapons power pack and yes we do need smaller class rifles but till then my top class 1-2 rifle is 22H yellowjacket
I love the m1 but it bugs me a little, if the numbers in the store about the ammo is true then the m1 ammo is even a little bit stronger than the 7mm. But the 7mm can go 4-9 and the m1 is only 4-8. Its weird. And it feels like the m1 tend to pull to the right a little. Not much but got many livers instead of lungs with the m1.
I used to use the solokin for class 3 species but then I started using the .243 because it is hard to get follow up shots with the solokhin due to its reload mechanism.
@@LadyLegendXO I hope so, but if you shoot just iron sights, you can see it is the reload animation. I wonder if EW decided it make it more "realistic". In either case, it is just painful.
Thx to u lady I started practice with bow few days ago now I'm killing everything mostly from 100m I shot turkey from 113m at night I feel like f.... Green arrow lol ty again lady
Thanks for the great guide! I have to check out a lot of weapons now. Regarding the King weapon though: I think it is not that useful. If I have to sneak up to 50-80m ish because of the weird scope, I might as well use the crossbow or the 70lb bow. They are cheaper, more versatile and add less hunting pressure to the map. And defending with the 70lb bow due to the quick redraw his easier as well. But then again, I love ALL the bows which are my favourite. Plus the .308 Zarza. The new 7mm bolt action is also a new favourite.
My favourite guns in the game have to be the zarza .308 and the 7mm rifle. Although if I was planning on shooting only 7-9's I'd probably take the tsurugi .338 and the ranger .243 just incase I see any class 4-6's
New to the game, never been hunting but want to just don’t have the money, so I play this instead. Your videos are so helpful! What are you thoughts on the competitor game?
Why use the virant when it’s the same as the Anderson 22 pistol in weapon pack 3 the Anderson weighs 1.5 less the the virant and it has the same other stats the Anderson is just better because it weighs less
We just need a competitor for the Ranger. The other guns for class 3 are... meh. I don't mind if the "competitor" would have the same ammo, i just want new sound, look and animation
Great video. IRL I use a .308 bolt action or a .308 semiauto and it works great on moose and anything smaller ;-) But in this game my favorite is the 7mm (class 4-9), as we here need to take classes into consideration. For real big game, I have a hard time choosing between the .300 and the .338. What is your thoughts on the new power of the .22 truncated? To me it seems wildly over done. But OK, it does a fine job on any bird so...
Hey lady, just wanted to let you know that your shot with the muzzloader was not far back, its a glitch that shots really far to the right rn! Thought you should know!
how did you get so close to that moose with the alexander long bow? i can barely get close to anything without taking a year to sneak up on it or else it'll spook
Idk but I'm getting some glitches I'm not sure if there was update but when I'm aiming with m1 and unzoom the middle or weapon is invisible after my binos left side of binos r invisible too never saw this before do u hav the same issues?
I found something in the store I have yet to purchase. The Martensson 6.5mm Lightning. I'm not sure which of the two recent dlcs I bought it came in. By the way the dlcs or on sale roughly two for the price of one .
just started and im trying to figure out how do I unlock/get more scopes? Are there only 2 scopes in the entire game for rifles? or is it a progressive thing where i unlock the iron sight and then unlock the scope that goes with it because I dont like having to switch copes for me big game rifle and my small game rifle.
