I really liked that you asked Tanya about the natural hair situation. I feel like black women are trying to resemble a more Eurocentric image on tv to blend in with the cast. It’s quite deep rooted The point Tanya made about braids was a pretty poor pushback as the braids would’ve sustained and looked MUCH neater than her glued wig did. So not sure where she was going with that… Just admit you wanted to look white (or white adjacent), and keep it moving! Hahaa 😂❤

@@madamejoyce1 I haven’t watched this season of LI 😮because of the lack of diversity in previous seasons and how dark skinned women have been treated while on the show. However, when you said this season they have casted more color, I couldn’t help but think that might be a factor for the low ratings. In my daily life, the people I interact with aren’t racists so I often forget that parts of the UK still feel funny about seeing black people on tv. I also think back to back seasons is a factor.
