He plays on PS4 and uses the “Claw” hold and switches styles with his left index finger rather than his thumb. It’s hard to make use of the “claw” hold on Xbox because the D-pad and left stick are in different spots on the controller than PS4 and you end up using your left index finger on the stick and left thumb for style switching, but that’s not as easy because it’s hard to control your movement with the stick by using left index finger He once had a better video up of his hands but this one should give you a good idea: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_gJxZomuots.html
kit cat :3 it’s called royal guard flying. I don’t believe it was an intentional mechanic by the developers but for some reason in this game, holding guard AFTER you’ve used a move with forward momentum and jump cancelled (I.e. sky star with trickster or full house with Gilgamesh then jump cancel and guard), you’ll fly in the direction you’re aiming with the stick. He can only “bounce” once per jump he has so after 3 jumps, he has to go back to the enemy, sky star, jump cancel and royal guard fly again. It’s pretty easy to practice but very hard to master. If you’re still playing DMC4, play Dante on a level that has a Mephisto and try just doing 1 royal guard fly instead of 3 by doing: (Starting in trickster and in the air): B > Down > A,B The first B in the air is Sky star, the ability where you dash forward in the air. Down is switching to royal guard stance and A,B is jump cancelling and immediately guarding. The final B has to be done almost immediately after the A. I switch to royal guard stance during sky star’s animation so that I can A,B right when I touch the enemy
Dante Gunslinger it’s royal guard that does it, trickster is just used to get it started 😎 Could use full house with Gilgamesh in place of sky star but royal guard flying with sky star as the initiator is easier to execute
Seriously I had to slow down & play the video in 0.50x to understand really what you're doing at 1:56 & you are switching b/w 3 styles all at once while staying in air!! How's is this really possible for a gamer!!?? Hats off to you!!

Easily thousands of hours. It sounds a lot, but I can tell you that's the case. My Vergil has around 900 hours since DMC4se's release, that's to give you an idea of how much one works hard on this kind of stuff. Donguri probably made the time limits explode :p
Donguri have you heard of a game called blade Symphony, its online sword fighting, but the gamer base is totally dead, game developers won't fix bugs or update game because nobody plays it anyways. I tried it to play the game the price was 5 dollars on steam. And it was super fun. You might wanna check it out. Blade Symphony. I am desperate to raise its player base to be a noticeable game.
