That's so real because rarely do we see Gilver think about others...when he does, it's about comparing Dante and his own outcomes and origins, showing us how much Vergil is actually impacted by living in the shadow of his mother's death (and by proxy his inability to prevent it...the motivator behind his obsession with power). Vergil is actually more emotional than Dante, but he got wounded in the heart early and literally became the ice king we know him as today.

It Just mean you Bury It Down, Deep inside you, protecting it from this cruel world, keeping It safe for to show It to Who Is really worth appreciating It. You never throw It away, you Just protecting it. That's why this song is such a masterpiece, It tells you to become strong, to become even harsh, but never to actually loose your inner self, to protect what is really good inside you from mosters of this world
