Thing is will Canelo allow him to find his rhythm in the first place? Gonna be a really good fight noetheless. Got canelo winning but gonna be real tough. Can still see bivol taking the upset. But I think Canelo presure gonna be too much for him in the later rounds and break him with a bod shot
Rhythmic is not really the term, that would be more of a Sweetpea Whitaker. Bivol, Loma and Ollie are the consumate products of Eastern European and Asian Amateur boxing. They are guys who hone their craft for ten and fifteen years in International and amateur boxing competitions before ever turning pro. They work off the pivot lead jab and then work laterally off pivots and slides.
@@nicholascazaerck6455 no, it's not. All boxing works off the pendelum step so saying a fighter is "rhytmic" means nothing really. I coach amateurs and fight, and I am a switch hitter who works off the jab to get inside. I have guys who really on rear counters off the opponents jabs. Others who rely on more Mexican aggressive style. They are all rhythmic but not rhythmic fighters. I coach European Olympian style and of course start with the pendulum step and blading. Sweetpea Whitaker is a broken/off rhythmic fighter and Southpaw (very tough). Sugar Ray Robinson and Aaron Pryor were on rhythmic fighters. Bivol fights Olympic/amateur style, like i coach. It relies on a strong jab, combos, blocking/pawing down opponents up guard to transfer into a pivot angle. So again, every boxer is rhythmic to a degree. No one would look at Bivol and claim he is a rhythmically defined fighter
I believe he’ll present a problem for Canelo with his style of boxing. The key is going to be can he keep Canelo at a distance for 12 rounds, if he can he’ll win due to outscoring Canelo on points. Canelo is very patient and will look for the right opportunity when he’s exposed to deliver body shots in the mid rounds.
I'm no expert at all but I agree distance determines the fight. The fight will be determined in the middle to late rounds if canelo closes the distance
No surprise to why Bivol is so mobile on his feet and fluid with his punches especially being at 175. Where mostly it's power punchers that that are champions. I got Bivol for the upset in a close one
He better listen to the blacks and learn this is his chance and he better remember the weaklings that fought Canelo and not go down like those suckers Yiu can do it you stronger then any guy he fought I believe in the Big Bivol you can do it brother bring that shit home dethrone Canelo
Dmitry is an awesome athlete as well a an amzing boxers. His style really does showcase his place of education. Going up against someone of Canelos class is impress and I say its very possible for bratana Bivol to win this huge match.
Training paid off, Good job! Too heavy for Canelo, Maybe he had a bad day but either way Bivol is skilled and he got the win. No Mexican cow no win, The better boxer won tonight. He was too heavy for Canelo but a really great boxer would've found a way to win by smart chess boxing, Lateral movement, Quickness, And go the distance, Like Mayweather.
For real. No disrespect, the guy is a decent fighter and has done well for himself but, compared to Canelo he looks sloppy and slow. However the fact remains that we never know what will happen
He is too slow for canelo. Jab from bivol doesn’t look good and canelo has seen the best jabs from mayweather and ggg. Canelo will attack body all fight and will win in 12. If canelo does ko him, it will be a tko ref stoppage around the 5th round from a flash knockdown. That is my longshot guess
