Hello! I would like to ask - in the simulation it shows the color of the part is changing after each tool pass, I would like to know if there is a way to define a color for various remaining stock thicknesses? if so please inform me with the procedure! thank you!
Yes. You can’t define the stock as one single color, or you can define each tool path as a color or you can define each tool as a color. So you have a lot of choices on what you want to see when you render it
GibbsCAM Video Tutorials Thank you for your reply. I was asking specifically though about the ability to view remaining stock and assigning colors to stock thickness. I.e red means 0.001 left over stock ,yellow means 0.01 stock left etc.
I am being dead..We produce this kind of parts..on mill-turn..cuz very risky on milling machines....nakamura tome....machine dedicated for these parts....multitasking double spindles..lef right....finish op1...transfer in spindle 2...and finish.
it would be nice if you actually had a post worth something before you show off. virtual machining doesn't show you the pain in the ass it is to get good code with the 840d sl control. get some applications guys who know what they are doing please.
If you put in the right information you get the right information out. Garbage in garbage out. The post for the DMU 50 works extremely well. Hardest part was probably designing the part and figuring out how I want to machine it
