0:08 “Whatever don’t kill you, makes you stronger…And I aint dead yet.” You fought to the end and wore your heart on your sleeve, may you Rest In Peace in gods arms and serve him like you always wanted to.
he made a valid point in this. X is the realest nigga that was in the game besides Pac. They do it for us. they dont do it for the money like X said "music is the key to LIFE!" "If i did it for the money i would have stopped along time ago" he does it cuz he loves it and his fans. Music is everything. Be good X.
I DON"T DO IT FOR THE MONEY!I DO IT FOR LUV! REAL TALK SPEAK'S FROM THE HEART ONE OF THE REALEST IN THE GAME. DMX IS SO TRU HAS NO FEAR OF WHAT PEOPLE THINK HE JUST DOES HIM (DARK MAN X) WHAT OTHER RAP SAY IT'S NOT ABOUT MONEY???? NONE ! HOLLA H-TOWN.
isn't it funny that corporations want these rappers to talk about violence, drugs and alcohol but want them to behave better than a squeky clean pastor... respect to dmx for keeping real and not forgetting where he's from.
I stumbled on this song once looking for another Artist. Glad I checked it out first, but man it hits different now that he gone R.I.P Earl DMX Legendary
584 comments of love and respect... he does it for love - he gets nothing but love from people he probably won't even meet face to face in this lifetime. God bless Earl. Truly Great man.
X you went through hell and your self and the people to be able to say "nothing and no one can fuck with me, I'm the realest". You are a beacon of hope for those that don't have any and a motivator for those that are in limbo at times. Your a leader when leaders follow you, and they do.
I remember hearing this jam as well as his album Year Of The Dog Again my freshman year of high school. Damn this really brings back memories. RIP Earl “DMX” Simmons you will be truly missed. One of the greatest rappers to ever pick up a mic. Fuck all these new wack ass mumble rappers these days.
"I dont do it for the money". Even though DMX has done a lot wrong, i do understand what negative environmental stimuli at a young age can do to someone, and i respect him at an extremely high level. That has to be one of the realest things i've heard - it's the difference between artists selling out and doing music their not accustomed-to or Dmx and what he have done through these years (i.e. being consistent and never changing his style or purpose). One love.
I cannot comprehend how some think he is close or worse than pac. First of all, just saying, don't compare them just because they are bald because I know that's what so many people do. Second, LiSTEN TO THiS MAN! His aura is incredible!! I mean the meaning in his songs is so deep and look at the way he makes it. This video goes to show how real of a rapper he is. He is FEELiN it, just vibing. Just his presence gets me excited, I love this dude. What I would do to see him in the booth like that..
