I am so glad to hear that... I know you must have explained it well... Thats why u got the first prize... My model is very general... Anyone can do it.... Congrats to you @rijja malik
this video is super helpful! you may not answer soon but could you please tell me how long the metal rod you used was? and also what the diameter of the beads in the middle were?
Wooden pieces works better than anything else... I have tried wires but didn't worked... Measurements were according to the size of DNA model strand... I have used almost more than 20 popsicle sticks, 1 cm gap between each... Accordingly used wooden pieces...
No.... inserted bicycle rod in to the yellow bead, then popsicle stick, again next yellow bead and so... Then arranged them and then applied pink beads to the ends....
Can we avoid making that wooden stand which hold the DNA model which you have made at last part of the video ? Or maybe just suggest me what shall I do without that wooden stick please
Not necessary to measure anything... Just divide popsicle into four equal parts... Two ends will be nitrogen bases and central part will be hydrogen bonds...
Would a soldering iron produce a hole? Considering how thin the sticks are and that leather punching tool thing is pretty nonexistent in my area;.;. Great idea btw!
Yeah... It the normal speed 150rpm... But it's not that good for DNA model to use... It should be very slow while rotating... I should have tried using speed controller... May be in next DNA model I will use it...
i read the comment that you say you use 20 popsicles sticks and 20 beads. i really want to make this dna model for my task from my teacher. tomorrow i will going to buy that wood thingy. and i wanna know how long you make the wood thingy in the behind of your dna model? please reply i need this info for tomorrow :(
@@DKBiosolutions if i want to make dna model like you, but my dna model having more height than yours, basically i can adjust how long the dna model holder right?
May I know whats the length of the bicycle spoke and also the diameter of it. And also, does the colour of the small beads on top of the big one matter. And if so, in what arrangements should I put them.
I have used a cycle wheel spoke to arrange all the popsicle sticks ... And attached it to motor with a strong straw piece... To make it stand, used a wooden piece as you can see in the video...
Sir and the diameter of the yellow beads is equal to the diameter of the metal wire sir pls tell sir because I am an 10 th student sir so I am felling difficulty in the measurements and length and width of the metal wire you used sir and diameter of the yellow beads pls tell sir I need to do it sir and give it as my internal pls sir
Hello.. I have used two sizes of beads. 146 smaller and 40 large beads. Orange and Green straws are just to show hydrogen bonds between nucleic acids. It should be of one color but just to make it more colorful I have used them. Different color beads on sides represent pentose sugar and phosphate group attached to Nitrogen base. Pink is to represent pentose sugar and yellow to phosphate group. Still if you have any queries please feel free to ask me😊👍...
What's the reason to buy 150 RPM.If we buy less than this means what happens? If we ask the shop keeper for 150 RPM will they provide what you have used in this vedio?
No but they are representing phosphate groups... Yellow beads in the center don't have any meaning... They are there just to hold the popsicle sticks...
Hi... Good morning... O yellow color ka structure motor ke sath hi aata hai, description me link dala hai amazon ka. Vahase kharid sakte ho. Nahi to just Google karo " motor for car making" , mil jayega. 😊👍
Number of popsicle sticks depend on few things, like, how many wooden beads you have, what is the size of that each wooden bead, (mine is 1cm in diameter) if you use the same size then the distance between each popsicle stick in the model will be 1 cm. I have painted 20 popsicle sticks for this model. If you use more than 20 sticks, model will look more better than mine. 😊👍
