Heh personally a fan of them keeping Superboy's original look and attitude from the comic...it's endearing in that kid trying to be cool sort of way which was what Superboy was originally about (and Lex's deadpan reaction to what he knows he created).

Luthor is green with Envy. So much so that in his mind he can create a better superman than the original. The problem is Lex's love of himself pushes everyone else away. So once the luster wears off Superboy is thrown out like a used condom.

jordan crows young justice superboy is thousand times better than this fuckboy. It doesn’t matter what the fuck is from the comics, there are plenty of stuff from comics that are absolute garbage and this is one of them by having a showboating fuckboy of a character show off. Not seeing how yj superbly “sucks” in anyway when that actually has a compelling character arc of dealing with anger, self-hatred, and identity. You must be insane if you automatically gravitate towards something just because it was in the comics. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just my two cents as someone who likes both. YJ Superboy started off a little too generic and angsty at the start for my tastes but really came into his own as a character as the show progressed. The Superboy from this movie I definitely have a little less attachment to but thought they did a good job of making him a reasonably fleshed out and entertaining character given that he wasn’t even the focal character over the course of one movie.

Making Metropolis safe again...Did Trump watch this movie, or did this come out around that time, or... I know that at least two other American presidents used some version of the Make America Great Again moniker, I just thought it...odd. Wasn’t a fan of Trump, was less a fan of Biden. Either one was the wrong guy winning. I wanted Gabbard, and I don’t even like most Democrats.
