@@StepConQiiST, strange that Squotty won. He was all the time offbeat and it seems more like he was dancing to another song. Now, I'm not a Dnb stepper, just a normal oldschool Melbourne Shuffler but in Melbourne Shuffle, we do highly value to be ON beat. We dance / adapt TO music. Music does not adapt to us. Outof these 3 contestants, only the chick was somewhat trying to adapt to the music. The rest were dancing in a bubble. Dance to express, not to impress.
@@StepConQiiST, I don't know man: the offbeat here was a very huge marginal so I don't think even with the delay, it will make THAT big difference. He was just too fast in term of bpm compared to the song.
Fuck I miss the days when legit like 75% of people at D&B events knew how to dance properly to this kind of music. Feels like this kind of stepping is a bit of a lost art form for many.
It's supposed to be fun, not a competition... wth is wrong with people ruining fun things? Things like this are meant to enjoy, not have a specific thing that you do... Its like saying I eat ice cream with a fork. No one likes that but is it that important to eat ice cream with a spoon? Should i get beat up or shamed because of it? No! Because its supposed to be the tasty treat we enjoy not the concept that the spoon is the whole point of eating ice cream...
Mad isn't it? My old boss at the pub is the same age as me (37) and steps like a legend like its part of his DNA since before he probably should know how to step. There's all this shuffle going on and that's cool because anyone that can step can shuffle, just might have to coordinate your mates a bit which was always a task given drugs were involved.
I love how the plaid shirt guy gets up from how hard she’s going in then at 2:09 he waits to she how she kills the beat coming back all 3 were awesome but dang the energy they gave was awesome
Girl was best, the other two weren't dancing to the music, they were using gimmick moves they practiced a million times, but forgot the music was there.
This fucking prick claims racism against white people yet lives in a PURE white Eastern European country, I know this because I've played there. The owner of this channel also keeps deleting my replies because he can't accept real and I mean real junglists and drum and bass heads criticising his shit dancing. What isn't more racist than deleting comments from non white commenters who are simply shocked at how tragic this all is? You should know @Step ConQiiST I found these videos via the pioneers of jungle and drum and bass, producers DECADES DEEP and still active to this day in jungle and drum and bass. Some of them have been watching this exchange too ironically and watching you delete my comments. I expect @Step ConQiiST will delete this comment, not because it's racist like he claims but because he knows this shit is embarrassing to music born of black culture and insulting to all the black and non white artists that built the sound for the past nearly 3 decades, hence the fact theres no black or non white people dancing like absolute spastics in this. You're doing hardstyle/gabba type footwork (an ultra white dance music scene) and claiming it like its yours by forcing on to jungle and drum and bass.
How to look for the battles in Europe? Trying to sign my daughter in. She absolutely compare all Dance Moves Milestones from Hip Hop, House and DnB.. 👍 👍
yo, was involved in dnb scene like 20yrs ago........ KEEP IN MIND THAT WHAT I SAY (as an old dude not invested in that scene) SHOULD NOT MATTER TO THEM....... ,but it looks like a dance contest for those who can't dance. no?
I have come across 2-3 videos with dnb step contest. All of them look not very pleasant compared to other dnb stepping videos were it seems to have better flow with more "simple" moves like x-outing etc, they look more fun and appealing to my eyes. Why is it so?
Its embarrassing to watch cringe I've been raving to dnb from day 1 hurts me to watch what has happened if you want to do that shit do it at a house rave where it belongs
@@kevinpearce4519 i do it in my free time as a relax, sport, i also host competitions and also participate, i am travelling around europe and teaching people and i have fun. Yes i dont do this on rave and yes this dance is there since 2005, thank you for your attention and even if i know its not the best looking dance i enjoy every single second and i spend 9 years of my life and still love it :)
@@kevinpearce4519 dancing has no fuking rules u douche bag. People can dance how they want when they want and it shud be all love in a rave wherever it is. So either join in or stay quiet
final battles ? i use a little bit kratom and can do alot more with all my body parts. its looks like only step dance in fast with minimal dnb xd agressive phonk dnb is my Choice
anybody want to explain the hate to me? I live in the U.S. and we don't have much of a DnB scene. We don't generally hate on people for dancing with their feet over here.... What is the problem? Is this viewed as outdated over there or something?
No ppl are just jealous thats all, we are used to this kinda audience, anyway thousands still come to see this event so thats why we do these events, to connect people and have fun
I was born in 1995 so idk what the fuck are you talking about. DNBdancing is here since the jungle hit the dancefloor and dnbstep itself was established around year 2005, my question is simple? What the fuck is gen Z? And do not call it skank cuz it has nothing to do with skank. Thanks
hay alguna competencia de este tipo latinoamericana creo que tengo mas level humildemente bailando d&b :) por cierto vacilen mi track soundcloud.com/carlarubiomusic/gamer-girl
And what That's it? This how WE dance in the 00's there is No Evolution? I mean it Looks great, but why a Battle? They dance in the absolut Same way, Just bit more Arms or a Bit more Speed. Oo
Oh, speed is defined by bpm obviously. ThIs kinda style was evolving since 2005 around Budapest, since that time it splitted into so many different styles. Even in this video you can see 3 totally diferent dnbstep style. But ok boomer
@@StepConQiiST well I guess someone should have told us in Miami back in the mid 90s when we were dancing the exact same way (but less sloppy) that it hadn't been invented yet. We would have stopped until your buddies invented it.
