Reminds me of a substitute teacher back in high school that I had a couple of times. Sweet innocent 60-65 year old man , maybe older. But on all occasions that he was a sub for any class I was in, he would always ramble about random things. 2 times we took advantage of the situation....... 1: a couple of people , MYSELF included, ditched the class. "Can we go to the bathroom?" Left the pass and took off. I stayed in the bathroom for the remainder of the period! It was the last class of the day, so might as well just chill until the bell rang! 2: another class, We turned the TV on and we watched a Spanish version of the Jerry Springer show! (Jose Luis Sin Censura) Again , in class! Kinda felt bad for him when I heard a couple of classmates making fun of him because of his rambling. He...did seem like a nice, sweet elderly man. Trump , on the other hand....just let him run his lips and make an ssa of himself. He's his own worst enemy!

Bill Clinton was the first politician to really inspire me. We'd had 12 years of Reagan/Bush and he changed everything. He still has a little of the old _panache_ and it was great to see him.
David, though I am a registered independent, I voted republican from 1972 until 2020, when I voted for Biden and had a conversion of sorts via a much needed education from a DEI committee at my place of business. I am now retired and have been devoted to becoming a better informed voter. Watching the DNC convention was a first for me and one of the best voter experiences I have ever had! I am so ashamed of my past voting ignorance and am determined to do my part to be better informed and vote to the benefit of our beloved country going forward. Watching in from England as a 62 year old half English American I’m just so happy with the change in the last month.I was having a nightmare thinking Trump was going to win and wondering why no one was mentioning project 2025 when I had known about it for at least 6 months.Thankfully it’s trickling out in the media.Now how long will it be before they admit his obvious dementia.
We're gonna have to start talking about project2025 in person, in the real world, to reach the people who don't watch left-wing news or any news, and all those arrogant centrists in the dark. I met one who openly said he wasn't going to vote either way and instead write one in, but he wouldn't let me chime in 😞 very alarming.
I agree with everything you said but I like to add that it shouldn’t take Project 2025 being available to the public to convince rational and mature American voters that Trump and his stark raving mad discipleship is a very real threat for not only our nation but also nations around the world. Trump has provided nearly a decade of legitimate reasons for why he should never be allowed within a 100 mile radius to any position of power and authority.
Mate I am also starting to feel a bit less panicked. I was truly worried about him getting in and it leading to some really bad things. I'm still worried, just a bit less. I love my American Brothers and Sisters so much, I want the best for them. I know they can recover from this, heal and gain back the lost respect caused by Trump. As a vet I caught something Pete said. He said something along the lines of "when my brothers and sisters and I went outside the wire" this is a separation veterans make. Those who leave the base "go outside the wire" it sets the difference between a combat veteran and a veteran who was deployed but never saw combat, like JD. Watched the DNC last night.. it was amazing.... In the sense, most all who spoke from the podium.. were liars! each and everyone one!! Saying foolish things like the inflation is not bad.. its beyond bad!! And saying the border is secured.. also saying that how great our health care is under the democrats Obama caused the worst health care inflation in our history!! lie after lie.. oh my gosh everything opposite of Trump..and they call him a liar.
