So normally the same combos will always do more damage in gold when the awakening super is tacked on. However outside of that clear will usually do more damage thanks to the new damage buff. The way I like to play is chipping away at people slowly until they slip up then doing a bunch of burst damage if it'll get me the round. Clear cube is more suitable for this play style since you get the damage buff very early and it's harder to deny Launcher her awakening in clear than it is in gold when you're basically one combo away from dying. I haven't used gold much just because I don't really fight any match ups where the reward outweighs the risks. But when you can use gold cube it is pretty insane with the MP regen, all you need is to get them into the corner once and you can pretty much trap them infinitely with 2B > 5S > 4M loops until they're guard broken. But again it's hard for her to survive long enough to reach that point in most match ups.
@@Jaxvex Hmmm, good points. Maybe I should try Clear cube in training mode. The Nen Master Matchup is a rough one for me, i die before I really get usage with Gold.
@@EeveeShadowBacon yup and her 4M makes it so you have to be careful with zoning. If you can stay outside of the range of her 4M you should have an easier time dealing with her though.
