Last sunday I made my debut in the DNRT Peugeot 206GTi cup. It were my first meters in the car and on this track and had to jump straight into qualifying without any practice, but because of a broken exhaust the car wouldn't go faster than 100km/h.
Because of this I had to start the race from the back (P30, P10 in the rookie class) and do my very first meters at speed in the first race. During the race I managed to climb up to P24 (P6 in class) with eventually a fastest lap time of a 2:13.2.
Race 2 went even better, starting from P24, I climbed up to P20 and P2 in class but sadly lost a lot of time because of a 10 second penalty and a car that didn't overtake the safety truck. During this race I had a fastest lap of 2:10.864, the fifth fastest of all drivers in the field.
In race 3 I finally managed to get P1 in class and P15 overall, just 6 seconds from P7 with a very close finish. (sadly not on video as the camera died)
Over all three races I eventually got a P2 in the rookie class
