Do 45mm Bands fit the Apple Watch Ultra? (Not Perfectly!) 

Finally someone talks about it. I noticed this in so many videos, this gap literally destroys the look of the watch for me. My ocd kicks in immediately. I hope apple or other manufacturers bring 49mm bands proper ones.

This happens even with 44 mm and 45 mm specially with third party bands. I have a series 7 and some of my third party bands have that gap.

Bothers me too. Looking forward to a crop of “fit for purpose” straps

Non issue since Apple themselves fully recognized this right from the start and explained the bands would be fully functional but with a small inset.

in vice versa, will the 49mm Apple watch Ultra band will fit the Apple Watch series 8 45mm band? hehe

It would bother me. I have tried several bands from AMZ and sent them back. The true test is the coating/paint on the clasp. Some clasp are shiny at the end and that is an eye sore to me. I did find one for my ultra that fits all the way nicely after about 10 tries.

The 45mm bands fit but not perfectly. I have been using them. They are fine.

But can the 49mm bands work with 45mm?

Does not bother me. But I am still hesitating b/w buying the SS link bracelet or a Nomad, Sandmarc titanium band. The SS color difference with the titanium case bothers me a bit even though I love the SS band looking, finding the titanium bracelet more dull. Would pick Sandmarc over Nomad. I do t like the Nomad band « opened » closing system.
