I haven't been using samples very effectively so far. I had always planned to, but never really made an effort other than your ear-candy samples. Thanks for the pro tips!

Damn! That Moog sounds incredible. Puts everything else to shame kinda. Totally the star of that (sound) stage. Which is a good thing. Incredible how much of a difference it makes. And so effortless/relaxed. To me that is pretty much always the case with quality gear, like great microphones, EQs, compressor, synths and drum machines.
