I noticed how almost all the servals shown were like "Nom, gimme more!" While everyone else was split pretty evenly. Dutchess's "Nom" was utterly precious, too.

You don't think of animals as having likes and dislikes with food but it makes sense. I love these vids, you can clearly see its not just their bodies but also their minds that are cared for.

Who doesn't think of animals as having likes and dislikes??? Anyone who's ever owned a cat knows how opinionated animals are when it comes to food :') (I just got new pet mice yesterday and I'm already noticing their likes/dislikes! For instance, Kickflip really loves honeydew melon and has no interest in pecans, whereas Jorts is really into oats)

I gave trout and salmon to my tabby a couple of times when she was younger. She loved it first, was later a bit skeptical about it and refuses it nowadays. Her taste may have changed over the years ;)

LOVE LOVE that Jinxsie! 🖤 Back when I was a non-vegetarian - with cats, of course - one of my cats loved crab but none of the others did. Another cat loved lobster, but again none of the others did. And one nutty cat went MAD for cantaloupe! They are individuals, with individual tastes - just like hoo-mans.

I had one cat who I had to hide the cantaloupe from. He would drag rind out of the trash and knock the melon off the counter. If you even said the word cantaloupe he would come running. Loved it, crazy cat. Miss him. 😺

Many years ago, my grandma used to bring shrimp cocktail platters to our house for the holidays. One time, I noticed something stuck to the floor in the kitchen, and realized it was a shrimp tail. I soon noticed my cat licking his lips in delight: while we were watching TV, he jumped onto the table and ate several shrimp! He was very proud of himself - lol. ❤🐾

Big cats get up to 17 pounds of food a day. Beef, pork, chicken and turkey. A few of our smaller cats are the ones who typically like shrimp. This was just a fun experiment to see if they even liked it.

My boy Gizmo loves scallops, lobster, prawns and shrimp. Took him aboard my brother's lobster boat and he went crazy trying to get at the lobster and we had to lock him up in the bathroom to keep him out of the boxes.
