If men talked about themselves and held each other accountable as much as they talk about feminine subjects they just might be able to whip each other back in to shape thus creating more leadership and trust amongst women. Start with self first and stop worrying about what women have been doing for yeeeeaaaarrsss…and that’s enhancing whatever makes us feel runway ready. Our great and grandmothers had lipstick wigs and heels. Leave us out of your conversations unless you’re acknowledging how you all are going to win the black household back. 🙄

Let’s not erase history. Hair was survival years ago. It meant better jobs, better opportunities, and acceptance in society. This preference for Eurocentric looks comes from colonialism. Women didn’t just wake up yesterday and decide to throw on wigs.
