people seem to forget Mourinho is a great man-manager, for most parts. Essien called him a "father figure" whereas Drogba said previously that he (and his teammates) would break a leg for Mourinho. Frank Lampard, Xabi Alonso, Wesley Sneijder and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all said he was a great manager. Even players who didnt have much game time under him (materrazzi and crespo) had nothing but praise. I don't think you could say the same about Conte.
Meme King If Zidane was worth his salt tactically, he would've realised that the CDR was their most realistic chance at silverware this season. Now - apart from a couple of smaller trophies at the beginning of the season - they'll probably finish it empty handed.
#euroroundup bayern munich for the winner's section, and more specifically vidal. They beat hoffenheim 5-2 with vidal running 7.6 miles with 88 intense runs, 84% pass completion and 18 tackles on the night!!
I genuinely think Arsenal got the better deal. I mean alexis was leaving 100% in the summer so to get a player in return for him I think that's good for Arsenal.
Jackson Currie How so? Just last summer Alexis was worth 60m double the worth of Mihki. If he was still in contract that swap deal was not going through without cash add-ons
The comment about Sanchez declining soon because he's played so much football is a joke, the amount of times I've heard that being said on FD and also about Aubameyang declining as well because he's so reliant on pace😂 they say shit like that all the time now they're trying to deny it
Joe is such a hypocrite, when Alexis was linked to City one of his arguments was that he had been overplayed and now that hes at united he says that argument is stupid.
Jose Sifuentes yh like the challenges because the players (in tennis) get 3 chances in a game to use VAR if they aren't satisfied with a decision. If this was applied to football where managers could be 3 instances (maybe more) then it may reduce the amount of managers blaming referees or critisizing anything. Just something I came up with lmk for aby pros and cons
Jose Sifuentes What im thinking is that the VAR should be totally in the managers hands, and possibly a new, stricter law should be imposed about the referees decision being final (should a manager use up the 3 allocated VAR previledges). That way managers could hold some blameas opposed to the referees getting most/all of the blame
