Testing both 1 car seat and 2 car seats in multiple configurations to see if they fit in a 2023 Ford Maverick. Obviously, it's a small truck so they shouldn't fit as well as in larger trucks. Overall surprised that they fit as well as they do.

I'm glad my kids are no longer in car seats! I am also Not 6'5, so it'll work pretty well for me. Love the Maverick content, man!

Good video thanks. When i ordered my maverick now schedule for 6/22 we only had one child and now we will have 2. Although this works its making me question the practicality. The only thing keeping me from getting a f150 of silverado is the Mavericks mpg.

This was an informative and well put-together video! I have a Maverick and will be starting a family in a year or two, so am debating whether or not an upgrade to a full size truck will be necessary. I need less space for my driver seat position, so I expect it will be doable. Full size would be easier, of course, but those prices are crazy! And midsize doesn't have second row space improvement, and some trucks like the GMC Canyon even have less than the Maverick does. Looks like Ol' Mavi boy is going to be my truck for the foreseeable future. Appreciate the content!

Hey thanks! As I continue to live with my own Maverick I’ve learned more: - the worst part is installing and removing the car seats. This is because the top tether strap that goes over the top of the back seat is really a pain in a truck. An SUV makes that task incredibly easy. - car seats also stop you from accessing the under seat storage area which could be a pain.

This is great, in the market for one and with family expanding this is really the only concern.

It’s tight. Really really tight. Especially with large kids or rear racing seats. So if you have small kids in forward facing seats it should be totally fine.

For the Graco front forward, you are not suppose to use the foot extender. That will give you more room

Good info, the downside is these seats you have are nice, but are huge. I have Diono and they are much smaller.

I have two car seats too. One rear facing and one forward facing. I put the rear facing in the center and the forward facing behind the passenger. Works great! Did you try rear facing in the center?

This was my instant gut feeling too! Wondering if, not two seats, but if you can get the RF in the middle and two adults in the back on either side.

NOPE! It’s a bummer. Dealer texted me an available XLT Ecoboost AWD that popped up but I’ve gotta have the hybrid. Do you have one??

I changed my Lariat from a hybrid to an ecoboost in December and got it in April. I also ordered an XL hybrid with the hitch and Co-pilot 360. It is currently in production so I should get it in July. My child is older and in a Britax Grow with you Clicktight and it works great in the Maverick.
