Stevo is right. Top 5 gets UCL for the 2024/25 season due to the change in competition format... The top 2 leagues in the UEFA coefficient rankings get an extra place.
i see the havertz and rice deal for the reason that they want someone who can float into the box, that being havertz while rice has a high rate of ball retention, with that he naturally pairs with someone like haverts who will float into space to receive the ballor make an important play. indirectly strengthens our attack because we can get more opportunities. i get why stevo was saying we need someone who can get goals since saka runs out of steam. but the rice haverts deal will strengthen the back bone of our attack.
i think its because arsenal were playing some of the best football last season and scored lots of goals so there is a higher chance he would do better at arsenal than at united. so i think its less about the clubs and more about the team and the season as i do think had arsenal finished 5th and lacked goals and went on to sign havertz with that kind of money people would lose their minds and rightly so.
