I think if you get good at her Kayle is basically built for you cause if you just don't lose at the beginning you start to win until you snowball into one of the most absurd champions in the game

Kayle player here! Ok so at the moment, in top lane, what feels best is Kraken into AP. Kraken 3rd hit scales like crazy with AP and the item gives you more early power then Nashor. How I personally do it, is I go Kraken and Swifties into Nashor and Rift Maker. Swifties make you stupid fast with W and passive, so you can perma push and they can't gank you. It is OP! They also allow you to kite melee champs into oblivion. Grasp is also a nice rune, pre 6 you are melee, but you can repeatedly proc it with E, so you can get 20 to 40 before lvl6, which is a LOT of HP, heal and damages.

To my knowledge, AP Kayle generally scales better but the AD first item does allow you much better wave control, so Kayla players will often rush either Wit’s End or Kraken Slayer and from there decide if they stick with AD or if they transition into full AP. Both WE and Kraken give good attack speed and on-hit damage so both synergies well with your AP items anyways.

I'm more impressed by the 295 farm at 27 minutes than anything else. Istg more minions spawn in challenger or some shit, i literally dont understand how to get that number

hey alois, glad to see you finally getting to kayle! you seem to have picked up the itemization/rune setups rly fast just looking at your opgg, very nice. only thing is swifties is a bit whatever most of the time, good vs olaf/nasus/aatrox and that's it rly. most of the time berserker's is just better, pen boots can be alright too AD kayle feels rly good early but you struggle to catch up to people mid/lategame, tend to like the hybrid builds with kraken/wit's/bork or 2 of those into full AP, rageblade pretty much never good but IE is fine try a grasp setup if you feel like, know some high elo kayle players that like it. phase rush can also be good vs some champs like olaf/nasus you ALWAYS want to start E, lvl 2 if you're low pretty much always get W to start regening mana, otherwise Q then the other. Q max is rly good vs either champs you need to short trade vs or just want to get away from, 3 points Q when this is only the case before 6, and E max otherwise. glad to see you going celerity in sorcery, feels rly good

The reason some people go Wit's end first is cause she has the second lowest base MR in the game, so even having a little magic resist early on is super broken. Plus it's an incredibly high damage item on it's own since she has attack speed in her hit, and the magic on-hit adds to it. Plus it's relatively cheap considering it's an adc item that also gives resistances.

In the Garen match-up, 3 points in Q into E max makes the lane so free especially if he doesn't go phase rush runes. You just keep your distance and any time Garen Qs forward you Q+W he can never catch up. Side note Celerity + swifties feel so good for kiting/keeping your distance from gap closing champs like trynd for example.

IMO, if you are good at funda mentos, you can reliably climb from low elo to around diamond/low masters with maining kayle in this Meta. Meta rn eversince snowballing got nerfed is to scale. Since kayle is such a powerful late game champion, learning NOT to die early will literally give you above 50% winrate (though that can be applied to all champions, kayle is simple yet perfect for simply not dying) She's only bad higher elo, because if you first pick her, a simple dive jungler like elise and a setter like camille will get you tower-dived 24/7.

Is there a reason that you aren't q'ing rammus to cut his armor to minimize his damage?

I'm far from being good at the game, but Kayle is my OTP. I'd definitely consider going for BotRK this game. Garen gets some level of tank, but Rammus and Ksante typically get pretty beefy. If you are going BotRK, Rageblade is often a good pairing with it and then you want another on hit item. Nashors, Wits or Kraken. Kraken probably makes the most sense here, but Nashor's would be fine as well I think. Garen is a really free match up for Kayle. Consider running Lethal Tempo instead of Fleet Footwork. LT gives Kayle so much damage at level 1, there is a ton of matchups you can just bully level 1 with LT and E because of how much damage Kayle has. For example Darius can be all in'd at level 1 and Kayle wins, but from level 2 onwards you have to take a more reserved playstyle. Fleet is good into champions where you need either the extra movement speed or extra healing. For example, Fleet + Unflinching + Swiftness vs Nasus allows you to mitigate his Wither, or a similar setup but with Celerity vs Yone to stop him running you down with E combo. Kayle primarily has 2 major runes, Lethal Tempo and Fleet Footwork, 2 viable mythics with Riftmaker and Rageblade and then tons of situational items. Wits vs AP, Kraken vs Brusiers, BotRK vs Tanks, Nashor's for damage, Deathcap, Lichbane, Void Staff, Rylais, Hourglass etc etc. Even her abilities are situational with both Q and E max being viable in different match ups! She is weak to ganks and some lanes counter her heavily but man do I enjoy how much games feel in my control. She scales like a monster so that can be a win condition, she split pushes really well, can play a supportive role with her ult to save fed teammates and with her surprising all in potential at level 1, she feels super fun imo! Though again, I'm not high elo so she is probably only viable because games are longer in lower elos where I play (Currently Gold 1, 80% WR 40+ Kayle games, Emerald 4 mmr)

kayle wins if opponent has no clue about what he's doing. if he does, you lose the game. just a coinflip champ really, with the addendum that if your team is behind you get ff at 15 and you never scale. also, you don't really scale that much. i doubt you can get to challenger playing kayle alois. not because of your or kayle in itself, but because it will take a bit more time than what you would like and you'd be better of playing for more meaningfull content!

Kayle is great champion for this series coz she all about knowing toplane matchup and wave managment she doesnt do anything else. howerver she also really sucks in high elo. up to masters it should be easy to cheese some wins with her tho

Kayle is a very weak champ. He is smurfing AND play against a garen who is the only bad champ ( singed too ) into Kayle. Keep that in mind.

I used to be a Kayle OTP. But it's the most mental inducing champion you will experience the higher you climb.

I think this is the perfect champ 4 U… U know how to get exp/gold and you can real time analyze what the game needs. And Kayle is this rare chap that can change item path mid game and everything works

AD Kayle is TERRIBLE compared to AP Kayle. Trust me on this. They play exactly the same, they both just autoattack, so it's easy to compare them. And AP wins easily.

In matchups against champions that want to trade early, like Darius and Garen, you can easily force first blood or flash with Lethal Tempo, Dblade, and Ignite. Your E is an auto attack reset. Stacking AS Passive + Stacking AS Keystone = strongest level 1 duelist in the game. You can beat Jax if he commits after E because you have an auto attack reset.

You should ask druttut to coach you on kayle. So hard to see you play the early game in one of the easiest matchups

so for kayle I like PTA more than LT or fleet and maxing q is better than maxing e so we can slow the enemy when we want to escape and do high dmg to them, but Im glad to see that u playing kayle
