Answering a question on children born with disabilities, Sadhguru says that suffering has nothing to do with the handicapped. Being born with a disability means that person is special in some way. The child usually doesn't go through that much suffering, it is the parents who become pained that their child is not like other children. Suffering doesn't happen because of someone else, but essentially because things don't happen the way you wish.

I think you miss the point that he was looking straight at the problem. His intention then was not to sympathize with the handy capped. If the parent becomes always sad once this has a happened its going to affect the child's inconveniences(suffering) more. Yes, there are possibly reasons why a child is born that way and he did not get into that part which again cannot be explained simply and create confusion. However all of us knows its because of the child's or the parent's KARMA !
