Do I Have a Concussion? 

welp hit my head pretty hard i searched this faster than naruto.

When u can’t afford a doctor so you wait for the concussion to heal itself

Nice to say when you don’t have health insurance cause you’re an American.

I can’t tell if I have a concussion or a bad headache mixed with dissociation from my anxiety lol

I got diagnosed with a concussion but I don’t think I have one, I am just very lightheaded and woozy and it kind of feels like I am high ig idk

I just wanna let everyone know who’s thinking about passing the doctor when having these symptoms, I did that and I basically needed to learn to use my legs normally (physical therapy) for almost a year twice a month I also have permanent effects like sensitive to light and sound. So if that sounds fun to you be an actual idiot and do what I did! 😀 also all this stuff happened with like a day or two of ignoring it then I passed out and forgot things, don’t wait, GO TO A DOCTOR!!!

"Google is not a doctor, you're dumb for trying to self diagnose." If we could afford to go to a doctor/hospital - we would. Its not a choice.

If I hadn’t googled it I probably wouldn’t have gone to the ER right away. Instead of going home I went to the hospital. Within 3 hours I had lost the ability to speak. With meds the swelling in my brain went down but it took a few hours for my speech ability to come back. If I had gone home I would have gone sleep and who know what would have happened if I delayed seeking medical treatment because for a time I felt fine. Not all information even medical from google is bad or unhelpful. Having some information about concussions helped me make the right decision.

What a great video, I just fell off my Onewheel XR and am worried cuz back of my skull hit the street but my body and neck muscles took quite a large part of the blow, also I feel relatively fine for now at least.

I've had a TBI for 5 years. The internet has been the source for most my information.

What’s dumb is when someone accepts anything as fact online or doesn’t know WHERE to look or how to spot signs of junk info. Another way to be dumb is to be UN-curious. I only learned that from the teacher who changed my life and showed me that he had the patience to answer any DUMB question I had until I wasn’t dumb anymore.
