A question I regularly see and hear is 'Do I need a remap?' Well the answer to that really depends on what you have done to your bike (or car).
In this one I explain why you might (or might not) need a remap, what affects the effectiveness and efficiency of your existing map, and what the mystical Triumph 12 Minute Tune is, and how to perform it.
I was going to go into remapping with DNK TuneWorks and TuneECU but you will have to stay tuned for the next one to see that.

Great video. Ive just fitted a full Hitchcox exhaust system to my Bobber . Ill try the tune tomorrow, thanks again. Andy

Hell yeah, need to get a remapping tool myself. Just need to save more money. Stupid exchange rate is killing me for purchasing anything overseas.

The good thing with exchange rates is they go up as well as down. Fingers crossed it turns in your favour Steve.

Martin at ignition tuning in coatbridge can remap your bike he is a master tuner an really knows his stuff

Interesting, thanks. Never heard of them so I will check them out. I have put a DNK tune remap on it now, video to drop shortly.

So did the 12 min tune make it run better ? Did it reduce or eliminate the deceleration popping ?

Does it work, yes within its own limitations. Did it work for me with what I have done to the exhaust system, no it didnt. I have followed this with the DNK Tune remap. Video will drop shortly.

When you reset the adaptions, there will be a fault code for cruise control in the ECU. Do you fix (the sequence of steps for cruise control) the cruise control first so the DTC is gone and then start the engine and wait for the readaption or leave the cruise control DTC as is and go ahead with the readaption?

I went ahead with it. My understanding is that the self learning process will not activate if there is an active code. If the adaptions are manually reset, you are not waiting for it to self activate. There is more on this in my Remap video.
