I'm just now thinking about getting a bidet and I never even thought about it for that purpose. That's genius! Idk why I haven't looked into this sooner!
ooookay I'll be honest, I got a bidet and watched this before using it for the first time. Really don't think you can just go without using toilet paper. That, or I'm doing it very wrong. I let the spray go for well over your suggested minute and it's still not clean. I wiped the first time just to be sure...then I wiped again...and again. Personally, I feel the best method is wipe first, THEN use the bidet to clean off any remains. gf suggested that one and it worked a lot better for me 🤷♂
Sometimes the water stream can also release more bowel, so my first recommendation would be to continue letting the water run. Keep experimenting and trying thing out to make it work best for you. You do what you gotta do do.
For adults, the bidet doesn't usually splash water outside of the toilet. For young children, it's possible that the water angle may splash the toilet lid and area surrounding the toilet. The water can easily be dried with a towel. Let me know if you have any other questions!
What is a booty-only towel and how does that work? Do you use a new towel every time, or are you clean enough to be able to reuse one, and if so, for how long? And where does this booty-only towel reside? How do you wash it? I think I need a whole video on this topic!
Great topic suggestion. A booty-only towel can be a washcloth or hand towel. You can have a stack of them next to your toilet, use it once, then put it in the laundry to be washed.
My concern is if someone else uses your bidet and has a stomach bug or something how do we clean that so we don't get sick? I don't want someones poop germs on my sensitive parts🤢 does it have something as far as self clean mode?
Some bidets do have a self clean mode, other than that, you should wipe down your bathroom with a disinfect that kills germs just as you normally would. Please follow your bidet manufacturer's cleaning instructions for the nozzle.
