I ran my own IT company for over 15 years. Being on the other side is not any better. Maybe worse? Instead of just worrying about your income being interrupted, think of worrying about others that work for you as well!

I believe like decent power cords good fuses give you more of which the manufacturer intended in the first place.Its hard to say power cords improve a system but quality fuses dont.After all the power travels through both to the component.

for a smoother animation of your webpage. dont scroll with ur mouse but take a screenshot of the entire page. then have that screenshot as a picture in your video editior software and then make the panning there.

alternativly, press the scroll wheel, then u get the panning feature of your webbrowser. just move the mouse 1 inch lower and let it stay there while u record ur screen. that will be smoother as well.

Liked what you said on fuses. The other thing to consider is now many fuse companies will say their fuse needs 200 plus hours to break in before you judge its worth and may sound worse for weeks or months, and what is proclaimed as the most amazing improvement in sound is then surpassed within a year or two with a new model that also is described as reaching new heights in sound ecstasy, It is also hard to find out if the fuse is UL approved and may be a point of insurance contention if your house burns down - all in all fuses, and I have played with many of the after market brands, may represent little bang for big bucks. Differences yes, next level improvements, often hard to determine

Thank you. At your / Our level, anything can make a difference. Including to: Input, connector, and output Impedance. Even if only a small, tiny bit, fuses can add resistance, inductance, and theoretically, some capacitance, all of which add up to inductive reactance. And this, as you state, can vary by frequency! AudioQuest states that their better cables, connectors are, "Zero Ohm." While my system is a bit complicated, I've spent more for these connectors & cables, than I have for a, "basic," quality stereo system. Jay, you've indeed spent years acquiring your knowledge of very high quality advice. I presume that if someone purchases equipment through you, there is a profit margin to you, & / or a reasonable consultation fee.

Interesting take on fuses - - naturally the same might be said of power cords - some of the brands Jay messes with come with high end cords - but take for example my Ref 6SE, comes with a nice but basically stock cord - Jay himself has expressed in regards to that specific pre-amp that a 3rd party high end power cord is "necessary" - - not really saying anything here, like Jay, I've messed with fuses and have found some benefits - I have an ARC SP20 pre-amp that benefited to the point that I wouldn't go back that's running 3rd party fuses, while my Ref6SE remains stock in the fuse department albeit with a "reference" level power cord.

My components cost less than a thousand each. I am intending to buy into the purple Synergistic Research fuse because I feel my current weakest link is going to be my final link. I figure, they offer a money back guarantee if I don’t like it within 30 days. I really haven’t made any mistakes after my initial year, full of mistakes.

regarding fuses, if you change a fuse and it sounds better ,then surely ,regardless who is the manufacturer or how much it costs ,you'd change it. no?

You mentioned that fuse rolling, like an equalizer, usually just changes the sound. Doesn’t make it better. I use my Mac equalizer mostly out of habit, and it usually sounds better when I bypass it. Lol

@@jaysaudiolab Audiophile cables are sounding differently like fuses as well !!! Fuses not just working like EQ boosters ,but sometimes they very effectively changing the Sound Stage as well !!! Different Speakers are sounding differently as well, different preamps and power amps sounding differently as well, Different streamers sounding differently as well !!! Different extension sockets in the same extension are sounding different as well !!! Different sockets in the same Regenerator sounding differently as well !!! Different Cat cable sockets inside switch are sounding differently as well !!! System grounding not always sounding good for all components...... If You Make Even One Small Mistake , you are gonna lose synergy !!! Absolutely everything makes sense ,but that is very complicated staff and that experiments not for beginners, who do not have patience !!!

Your logic is flawed about fuses, Jay. Electronics aren't voiced with the speakers or cables you're using. Fuses are basically short cables that are dealing with vibration and heat. If you believe people should try your brand of cables which will change the sound of the electronics they are hooked up to, then you cannot claim any logic with not trying different fuses. Additionally some of the ultra high-end electronics don't use fuses. You mentioned the Gryphon Apex, does it have fuses inside of it?
