Man, it looks amazing!! , I’m a guy with full set of hair, receding a bit on the temples, but it’s normal as you age, ect. I eat healthy, exercise and take care of my hair. But this right here is great! It looks great on you. If I saw you in person, I would never in a million years know you had a hair system, it looks so real as it can get! If I ever start to lose hair, I would get the same thing! Nothing wrong with it. As long as you love it and you feel great. Respect.

I use to have one of these over twenty five years ago I stopped and just shaved my hair short I had a hell of a time styling my unit. They came a long ways on these yours looks good.

Your hair style is the right one for a hair piece. Most guys get heavy density and comb their hair up, or towards the back exposing the hairline and that’s when it becomes obvious. You’ve done it just right sir.

I got one of these when I was 23 years old. Tried it for a year until people started noticing birds fly into my head. I ripped it off and mailed it back. Shaved head and accepted it. Am 50 now, so glad I’m not spending all that money for that. To each their own

Wow, we went into hair systems at the same time Rod...My first hair system was Okay, not great Okay, as a client of a company. I saw Sean Connery RIP in Medicine Man and his hair system and thought wow that looks natural, I found who made him this and approached the maker and the rest is history. Two differenet experiences. I remember when toupees seemed ridiculous seeing them in black and white comedys, but these modern day hairpieces are probably something I'll use when I'm older if I go bald enough, shaving the entire head bald doesn't look bad but for me it's about wanting to not look the same all the time, plus razors always nip you here and there eventually

This is all fine and good but the problems as I see them (from my own attempts with a hair system) are: 1) Somehow making a very good DIY template that can be used over and over to replace an old one...you can't use the same unit forever so this is inevitable. 2) Finding a good stylist who will cut in a piece (as is the case here) for a reasonable price similar to that associated with a a "normal" haircut on regular growing hair. 3) C-22. This. Stuff. Is. Full. Of. Petrochemicals. It is therefore toxic, plain and simple which increases health risks directly in proportion to how and how frequently its used, handled without protective gloves, and generally inhaled without a proper face mask. Thanks for a really nice video guys but getting around the aforementioned obstacles was just way too much of a hassle for me. Your hair does look very good!

@@MegaMikeArnold Hey Google Man, thanks for the post and some very good questions and experiences too… When I first had a hair system, I am sure the company used super glue and fortunately I had no skin issues…it was 1993!! Walkers and Hair Labs saw the opportunity and these two companies have supplied FDA approved tapes and adhesives and solvents since the mid 1990’s. I rarely see any issues with the above products, and I mean 00.1%...But, like you said a solvent is a solvent however gentle it is to your skin. Less is more, being what we teach with our Fitting and Extensive Training options and pretty much 100% of new clients opt for this. I am sorry it did not work out for you, but you sound like you survived the ordeal 😊…Regards Phil The Hair Man

Hi, this looks really good. I had my first hair system installed by a salon last October. I like the system but was persuaded to have a mix of synthetic and bio hair. My hair is grey going white and I was told it was very difficult to source white hair. It is easy to control, but I do think it looks artificial under certain lighting. Could I ask whether you source bio hair for grey/ white, or whether you also use synthetic?

Phil - I have an all-poly base. When I use C-22 on the tape, it sort of turns into a glob and I cannot get it off to save my life. It stays stick for days and days. I ended up leaving it on and keep using it ..... it is strange. Should I be using some other tape remover spray?

C-22 and an old Credit Card to remove with - though it does sound like you use a strong adhesive - if so C-22 leave to soak and then use the CC - take your partners CC so they don't spend as much :-)

I’ve commented on another video…. I’ve been wearing hair for 30yrs now, and I’ve not seen, or been to any salon in the U.S. that has hair that looks this good. NO ONE seems to know how to get a good color/density match in the states. They all want to give you the thickest system they can find, and it looks terrible. I would have to go home and thin the entire system out, and lighten up certain parts of it to make it look perfectly “imperfect”. His system has the perfect amount of highlights, and density….and it was cut-in, and blended beautifully. Both these guys know what they’re doing. I’m looking forward to having a consultation with their company. I went to the tape, over the Ghost Bond, as well…..it just got too messy. He’s spot on, once a week (regardless of what the package says). Great video, guys!

Between the time change across the pond, and my personal situation it's been tough to try and nail down a time...but, I'm looking very forward to talking. My experience got so bad, that I just said f**k-it, and shaved my whole head for a few years. I've got two new pieces that haven't even been cut-in, but my hair went 40% gray in those few years. Now that my hair has so much more gray in it, I'd like to try a really nice, well made system to see if it would blend in a bit better. You're videos gave me a lot of inspiration, and hope. My hair is a bit darker...I'm somewhere between a 440/540 both "ash", depending on what spot you're looking at on my head. Anyway, I'm rambling....yes, I'll shoot you guys an e-mail to try and nail down a time that's not too brutal on you over there....I'm in Orlando, Florida (U.S. Eastern time).

Elite Hair Alternatives was the name when I was about. :-) I think Anderia has moved everything to Miami - and moved to central Orlando from Winter Park before the Miami move. I can't say a bad word about Anderia, she was fair and extremely hard working. Orlando and Tampa I loved...miss it. :-).

What do you do when you get one of these and you go back to your life and work and suddenly you have hair? What do you say? Or do you say anything at all? I started losing my hair when I was 23 and I'm 41 now. I'm bald on the top of my head but plenty of hair around the sides. I want one of these so badly but have no idea how to handle going back to work and everyone suddenly seeing me with hair after seeing my bald head the last 4 years.

I see a bit of redness on the side humps of your crown when you are removing the hair system. What causes that, and is it avoidable if I'm prone to dandruff/mild seborrheic dermatitis?

Hi Anuj, thanks for your comment - the redness has never bothered me and most likely caused if I haven't used enough citric c-22 to remove the hair system... Dandruff and hair systems is possible with a once a week attachment you can do all activities, they are are fine to do - Attached for up to 4 weeks removed, cleaned, and reattached - why not have a video consi with me? Looks good from the front. But no unit needs that much tape on it. Eventually the constant pulling all the way around to remove tape vs applying in a few key places will rip the unit.
